### 4/5 — Great App - Could be Better

*2026-07-03*

Update July 2026 - Thanks for updating the design of the up, much appreciated. I’ve tried other apps and I like the simplicity of this one, keep up the support.

Great app, I think it can use a redesign to make the application a bit more modern and add some trending information such as day, week, and month instead of just a list of all the entries.

If both these changes were made I’d consider contributing to the paid version to remove the Ads.

Other than that does what it needs to and having the widget available is a bonus that I do appreciate.

### 3/5 — Good, not great

*2025-05-07, version 1.19*

It is a lightweight, basic, functional app. It lacks features. It doesn’t sync/export to Apple Health (where there is a diarrhea / constipation tracker) to take advantage of its features such as graphing.

### 3/5 — Please stop the loud ads

*2024-06-27, version 1.17*

The app works fine. Very helpful. But the ads blare out.l s p

### 4/5 — Great app

*2023-11-18*

This is a great app that allows me to keep track of my gut health. I love that I can look at all my past tracking and review how I am doing. I do wish you could personalize it a little bit. Also a calendar that also may show your past logging. Even though it is a good app I think a little flare may make it a little bit more fun.
I have had other apps that help with keeping track of your gut health. They always had ways to also keep track of your moments you also go #1 as well. With advice as well on how to keep your times visiting the bathroom a lot better.
Overall a really great app just it would be nice to see some other things added as well. To personalize it just a little. Adding a calendar, #1 tracking as well also maybe adding some way of identifying how your bathroom business could be affecting your health. Maybe also adding some articles of food and drink advice to health keep a healthy gut as well.
I purchased the app to unlock all the benefits of the app thinking it will unlock much more. I again find the app really great it just would be nice to have just a little more for what your getting. Overall again a good app it helps me out.

### 4/5 — Add delete all

*2023-01-02*

Easy and simple to use with appropriate and relevant options. A shame they added ads. One suggestion would be to add a “clear all” option to make it easier to track certain time frames such as a calendar year.

### 4/5 — Map??

*2022-09-07, version 1.15*

Can you please add a feature with a map and location tagging?

### 3/5 — Review

*2021-10-14*

I think is really great but there should be an option to share with friends. It should obviously optional :)

### 4/5 — Show the exact time

*2021-01-07, version 1.12*

It's a nice app, is it available to show the exact time on the first page, not just "afternoon" "morning "

### 4/5 — Ads

*2020-12-03, version 1.12*

This is a great app, but it would be so much better if the ads wouldn’t pop up every moment you go on there.

### 5/5 — IM IN LOVE

*2020-07-26, version 1.10*

### 4/5 — Pretty good

*2020-07-16, version 1.10*

It’s a pretty good app but there is a middle in between fast and slow poop. I also don’t believe most of them are considered bad poop.

### 3/5 — Friend sharing

*2020-07-03, version 1.10*

Can you please make it so you can connect with friends to compare poops

### 5/5 — Does the Job!

*2020-06-09*

I’m going to preface this with I have absolutely no underlying need to track my bowel movements. I just do so because it helps me stay conscious about my body and my symptoms. Otherwise I wouldn’t be able to tell if I was regular or not or if it hurt all the time or what.

That being said, this app does the job! You can opt to take a photo if you want and you can hide those photos so that when you are scrolling you don’t have to be looking at the lovely contents. It helps categorize shapes and speed. Depending on that, it’s either good or bad and outlined as green or red respectively. So it will help you keep track at a glance.

You also have the opportunity to take notes about that particular movement and if it’s been a few days since your last, you get a handy dandy reminder!

### 5/5 — Great ! Best for those of us who don’t go everyday!!

*2020-05-15, version 1.10*

It’s an app for your poo. Track when you go how it was/ looks. It tells you what time you when what day how many times quality of your poo and boom poo tracker lol helps you remember.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — All history gone. 7.5 years!

*2024-09-21, version 1.19*

I got a new phone today and set it up and all of my 7.5 years of history is gone. I upgrade my phone every year and this has never been an issue before. But now it’s all gone. I’m not going to use this app anymore if I have to start all over.

### 1/5 — Don’t get the Free Version it’s Crap, Full of automatic downloads..Pay for it, it’s Fantastic

*2021-04-04, version 1.13*

upgraded pro model is fantastic however the free version is crap :-) Full of automatic downloads, Tracking... Don’t Get the Free Version Pay for the Full it’s Great!

### 1/5 — Don’t waste your time!!!!

*2020-05-12, version 1.10*

I’ve been looking for an app that has it all. After downloading a few to check out I was excited to try this one. Boy was I wrong. An ad overtook my phone and forced me to watch it.......

I never EVER have downloaded an app due to an ad, in fact it’s even more reason NOT to download it. I understand this app is free, but if I’ve had 4 ads that have appeared lasting 20 seconds without a way to exit - this is a no from me dawg.

I’ll continue my search and uninstall this app. In the meantime I suggest using “PCal” as there is so much more to it. You still have the options of what “type” of poop you’ve had, BUT it has more!!!!!!!! You can include the color, the time is specific to include 3 options of how long it took: “< 5 min” “5-10 min” and “> 10 min”

As well as 3 “amount” options. You can include photos and notes. Same with this app. Except over the 2-3 days I’ve had it NOT ONE APP APPEARED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AND IT’S FREE!

Thanks for trying, but this was a huge disappointment.

### 1/5 — You pay for stuff !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

*2020-03-25, version 1.10*

The title says everything

### 1/5 — Was shown an ad after 5 seconds

*2019-12-24, version 1.10*

Didn’t even really give me a chance to see the app before showing me some video ad, and then I couldn’t close the ad and had to terminate the app completely.

### 1/5 — Poo Keeper

*2018-11-28, version 1.6*

Support is nonexistent. Cannot forward to doctor, cannot find out if it can be printed. No one answers emails.

### 1/5 — Paid app still shows ads!!!

*2018-10-30, version 1.3*

I unlocked pro and STILL he probably the most intrusive iPhone ads i have ever seen on a app. Makes it completely not worthy using.

### 1/5 — Loud video ad in bathroom!

*2018-06-24, version 1.2*

Immediately after opening the app for the first time and logging a BM and hitting save a full volume add for Hulu started playing.no options for mute
Very embarrassing in a public bathroom. Use a different app

### 1/5 — Crap!

*2018-06-15, version 1.2*

Crap, seriously. Impossible enter info because redirects into an advert screen. Go back into the app and it does it again. Deleted

### 1/5 — Ads

*2018-05-15, version 1.2*

Couldn’t even get started, just kept taking me to the App Store to download Casino apps. Uninstalled.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Completely free

*2025-05-03, version 1.19*

Everything is free great app

### 5/5 — Excellent App, Quick to Fix Bugs

*2025-04-21*

User of 6 years. Grateful for the objective look at bowel health over the years that this provides. It is simple, straightforward, and gives all the info you need for tracking bowel habits. Export to CSV/XML allows graphing of your data if you want to see it. Adding an extra tier that would export data to Apple Health and/or graph it in the app itself would be a reasonable feature to consider for the less technical.

The price is fair for having a dedicated app: buy once, use it for life. It’s well worth the price to remove ad wait time once you’ve been using it for a while. And well worth it just for keeping bowel tracking photos separate from the rest of my life - even a hidden folder in the Photos app is asking for awkwardness, as there are too many opportunities to appear in places I don’t want them over the years (backups, imports to other devices, etc.). The peace of mind and organization is well worth it. And the app is still actively developed for bugs and new iOS updates. I appreciate that they haven’t tried switching to a ridiculous subscription model like so many other apps that don’t take substantial developer time on an ongoing basis. It’s fair, and it does the job.

Prior Review:
Long time user getting camera errors under iOS 18. Hope this is fixed soon. Been a great health app for tracking the not so glamorous but very important area of colon health. Definitely will update to 5 stars once this bug is fixed.

### 5/5 — Works Well, But Let’s Help The Docs By Using ChatGPT

*2025-01-23, version 1.19*

I am very happy with the straightforwardness of this application.

But… I would like to request that when it’s time for creating an export, it would be very useful if one could also opt to export both the poo scale diagram as well as a key associated with each numbered diagram image, e.g, 1: Small hard lumps (constipation).

While I’m sitting on the toilet, with a little else to do but dictate, I refer to mixed movements and other joys by number, and send in that info on my own.

After I export the report as a PDF, I now import it into my ChatGPT account and ask for it to create a summary.

It does a good job on this, given the highly detailed daily reports, and allows me to. That correct misinterpretations on the part of the app.

You can ask ChatGPT to identify general trends and refer to specific by date and time.

If the developers would come up with a number of ChatGPT or other AI’s to ask for specific kinds of summary sections that would be *lovely.*

Also, nice would be for the report -and especially since when one can send it off to an AI summarization - would be for the report to include a key or data dictionary section at the bottom that describes each data column in the report and refers explicitly to the Bristol scale.

### 5/5 — Poo keeper

*2024-03-11*

Good app

### 5/5 — Love this app

*2023-08-04*

I’ve been using this app for over 5 years to track my IBS symptoms. I love that I can log a BM in less than 10 seconds. Some other apps are too visually busy, or ask too many details; I find them difficult to use. Sometimes I can’t remember the last time I visited the bathroom, so this has been a helpful tool. I also appreciate the reminders, even though the content of the reminder could be a bit more discreet. My doctor is always impressed with my BM log’s organization.

### 5/5 — Works Well, But Let’s Help The Docs

### 5/5 — Brilliant for IBS sufferers

*2021-04-21, version 1.13*

Just happen to see this whilst looking for something else and as crude as it looks i wish I had found this when my IBS was in full flow so I could report it On my 11pro Max
Few bagels Bugs in the first month but seems to be running ok now.Developer very communicative thanks it helps .

### 5/5 — Great Poop app

*2021-04-09*

Wish I could track the bowel meds I take

### 5/5 — Easy to view poop data

*2020-09-06, version 1.11*

I like the app because you can easily view the progression of regression of your poop.

### 5/5 — Great App

*2020-08-31*

I have multiple disabilities that make my bowel movements fluctuate a lot and I also have a pretty bad memory so having this info at my fingertips through the app has been a huge help when I need to report to my doctors. This is one of the few apps that I actually liked enough to upgrade to the pro version. I don’t particularly care about the pro features but I use this app so frequently and it’s been such a big help that I wanted to support the developers monetarily.
