## What is Pool Assistant?

Pool Assistant keeps your pool tests, trends, and settings in one place. Enter the readings from your test kit, see how they compare with the targets for your pool, and get calculated dose guidance when a supported reading needs attention.

Use Pool Assistant to:

- Log complete or partial water tests, including water temperature.
- Review test history and edit or delete saved entries.
- Follow 30-day and 90-day trends for each chemistry reading.
- Get target-aware guidance for chlorine, pH, alkalinity, calcium hardness, stabilizer, and salt when the required information is available.
- See current calcite saturation index (CSI) and examples of how chemistry changes affect water balance.
- Save pool size, finish, sanitizer, equipment, chemical products, and preferred targets.
- Track filter, salt-cell, equipment, and custom maintenance dates.
- Add your own service intervals without relying on generic schedules.
- Keep pool settings and test history in your private iCloud database for use across your devices.

Test logging, dashboard tracking, maintenance, history, trend charts, settings, and iCloud sync are free. An optional Pool Assistant Premium subscription calculates supported amounts for chlorine, pH-lowering acid, alkalinity, calcium, stabilizer, and salt using your latest saved test, pool volume, and selected products. Premium adds correction and retest steps, dose recommendations on chemistry trends, and CSI water-balance examples. Eligible new subscribers can try Premium free for one month, then continue for the localized monthly price shown before purchase.

Premium renews monthly until canceled. Manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple Account settings.

Pool Assistant does not test your water or control pool equipment. Dose amounts are estimates based on the values and products you enter. Follow chemical labels, equipment instructions, and local safety guidance. When in doubt, add less, circulate, and retest before adding more.
