### 4/5 — Fun game with some flaws

*2019-06-23, version 2.7.2*

This game is a lot of fun, and fairly realistic. In most of the game options, there is a huge gap between the “experienced” computer opponent and the “veteran” opponent. I can beat the experienced opponent 90% of the time, but have never beaten the veteran opponent. Also, in the pool games, the aiming mechanism allows you to easily make shots that even the most expert pool players would never attempt.

Still, it is a fun and enjoyable game.

### 4/5 — Great but needs slight improvement

*2018-12-08, version 2.7.2*

Really enjoy this game. I would want to see one improvement though.... a visual display of what balls have been pocketed. That would be a great help in deciding what to shoot after the break. I know... I can’t count the balls, but the visual would be easier and faster.

### 4/5 — Great idle fun!

*2018-10-18, version 2.7.2*

I really enjoy killing time with this game. For the most part, the physics are great, and the games can be a challenge. I have played with the sound on, but generally I play with it off. Now and then I see a glitch where a ball rebounds near a pocket strangely, and sometimes when I play 9-ball and the CPU scratches on the 9, the cue lines up with the last pocket, not with the 9 itself. Other than that, great fun.

### 4/5 — Line of sight

*2018-06-01, version 2.7.2*

First off, this is a great app. There is but one downfall that I am just about always encountering. I am not able to see all of the table, all of the time. This makes for quite a few guesstimation shots.

### 5/5 — Awesome

*2018-05-23, version 2.7.2*

I love this game and especially the different skill levels. I am at the rookie stage now😂😂; however I am slowly getting better 😃 This game has made me very interested in playing the game at an billiards 🎱 establishment.

### 4/5 — Disappearing cue

*2018-05-12, version 2.7.2*

Although this is my only pool sim app, no other compares.
Yet, recently a bug has been plaguing the players. Since someone else reported this had been occurring recently...

While playing online, our cue would disappear. Used to do so when some would quit. Yet, realized that wasn’t the case.
Please, look into it.

Also, this strange bug would appear while playing online where a player would move the ball around even when no scratch has occurred.

I play upon my iPad Pro. Not sure if the bug is an iPad issue specifically.

Other wise, by far, the best pool sim game out there.

### 5/5 — Releives boredom

*2018-04-18, version 2.7.2*

A pretty decent game
I truly enjoyed playing it for 4 straight hours

### 5/5 — The best, no frills pool experience on the iPhone.

*2018-04-12, version 2.7.2*

Simple, elegant, and no gimmicks, I keep coming back to this year after year. All of the difficulty and control options are easily found and adjustable, and it offers a wide variety of play styles for an otherwise fairly static sport. I love it.

### 5/5 — Great app plays perfectly on the mini

*2018-03-24, version 2.7.2*

Realistic, put a little music on in the background you think you're actually in a pool room

### 4/5 — Carton board rocks!

*2018-03-23, version 2.7.2*

I played carton board since I was 5 or 6. Was nice to see the cb here! I did not see option for different games which actually follow rules. Only rule seems to be to cover the queen. That’s why only 4 out of 5 stars
Cheers and keep doing great work
Thanks

### 1/5 — Can i get a refund

*2019-01-26, version 2.7.2*

This is what is bad about games not letting you try them first before purchasing - you pay without knowing whether you will like a game or not.

This game is not for me at all. The controls are all over the place. You need to press multiple things to take your turn. The worst part is that the screen makes you dizzy!!! I feel nauseous. Kids play this? They might get a seizure. Why do people like this game? I had the game on my device for less than ten minutes. Can i get my money back?

### 1/5 — So you pay for ad free......

*2018-12-11, version 2.7.2*

And you still have the 30 second or more ads. The jokes on me I guess! Also, you can’t see the full table when you make a shot. So, you can’t tell if your shot did what you wanted it to do or not. Having said that, there are some beneficial aspects of this game app. If I had known the pros and cons before I bought this, supposed, ad free version, (lots of Google ads) I never, NEVER would have! I don’t like to give negative reviews but if I could I would give negative stars.

### 2/5 — No online playing. Wait and wait and wait and no matches

*2020-12-02, version 2.7.2*

Serious connectivity issues for online players. Otherwise— you can play the computer 24/7.

### 3/5 — Great game - Needs community/lobby

*2022-10-24, version 2.7.2*

This game is need of an update - needs a community and rooms where players can congregate and challenge each other. The underlying graphics and physics engine is fantastic when playing on an iPad/tablet device so to be missing the community/online lobby aspect is a real shame. Flyordie a web app with pool/snooker games amongst others has a good template for what you can achieve at a basic level when it comes to online player rooms/ratings systems. We just need something basic here like flyordie - nothing complex that you would have at the video game console level. Once something like that is added this game would be the best on any Apple device when it comes to billiards. It’s fantastic to see see three ball billiards, snooker, pool variations all on this app - so when I first started playing this 5+ years ago - I thought it had a ton of potential - but the developers just never updated anything and the lack of community aspect has dented this app massively.

### 3/5 — The computer cheats

*2022-01-01, version 2.7.2*

Several games I put in the 8 ball and computer said it was pocketed illegally. Also I try to make shots and I can’t see the part of the table I am shooting at. If I am playing pool I can see the whole table. I don’t know if you are going to do anything about the issue. But that is what I have found.

### 3/5 — This game cheats!

*2019-05-09, version 2.7.2*

I love this game but for one major flaw... it cheats. Yes, sometimes in my favor, often in favor of the computer, but it’s maddening in both instances. It has the nasty habit of “awarding” extra shots even though a player, be it myself or the computer, just missed its shot and doesn’t deserve another. It seems to happen randomly and often results in handing the computer the extra, undeserved shot that is nothing short of cheating for the win. For the love of God, developers, get rid of this “feature” or allow the user to turn it off. It makes what would be the perfect pool game into a far too often maddening exercise in the random reinforcement of patience-testing frustration.

### 3/5 — Physics go wacky sometimes

*2018-10-08, version 2.7.2*

In the middle of a game, the balls move very slowly and aim goes off kilter. I hope the developers can figure out why.

Other than that, it’s a great game.

### 3/5 — Fun, except when the physics stop working

*2018-05-31, version 2.7.2*

I enjoy this game...perhaps a bit too much until the physics randomly stop working, that is. It is very realistic when working properly. The issue is the physics randomly stop functioning every few days and things get squirrelly making it impossible to know where the balls will stop rolling. Hoping the developer is working on a fix. I’ll consider updating with more stars if and when that happens.

### 3/5 — Cool but unfinished

*2018-05-11, version 2.7.2*

Pool, and snooker are great in this game, very realistic. The issue I have is with Crokinole, even on the highest difficulty the computer is terrible, instead of laying into the open spot they'll just shoot their shot off the board and leave you free to sink 20's the whole time.

### 4/5 — good pool game

*2019-10-24, version 2.7.2*

Good game realistic but I want to see pocketed balls the switch in settings on ipad pro doesnt show pocketed balls also id like a button to reset games that the computer and player wins ,veteren skill level hardly gives you a chance to shoot sometimes runs the table and the lower skill level misses too much and is not a challenge. Other than that this is an awesome game.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — One suggestion

*2022-07-21, version 2.7.2*

Great game but one thing is missing. Had a 138 break on a snooker game and it would be nice if the game recognized centuries.

### 5/5 — HAS ALL THE “I WISH IT WOULDS”

*2021-07-24, version 2.7.2*

Best of all, many other games are nice but they just won’t do this or that this game does it all.

### 5/5 — Good looking table with clear flexible angles n visuals

*2021-07-05, version 2.7.2*

Enjoying the game almost as much as I do on a real table

### 5/5 — Best pool game ever!

*2020-12-18, version 2.7.2*

Only wish there was a way to review a shot. Sometimes I miss what happened and would like to see my shot and the ball action over.

### 5/5 — Absolutely Superb!

*2020-11-04, version 2.7.2*

Yes, sometimes the game makes impossibly good shots and sometimes impossibly bad ones. But, come to think of it, so do I. Congratulations and gratitude to the designers for having created a work of art that’s great fun to play!

### 5/5 — The best I have played

*2020-05-16, version 2.7.2*

The best I have played.
All these other folks have told you what you need to know.

### 5/5 — Plays like the real

*2019-08-30, version 2.7.2*

Very good game likes the pass and play option

### 5/5 — Line hackers.

*2019-03-28, version 2.7.2*

This is the most realistic best pool game I’ve ever played. My only concern are the people hacking into the game and using lines that don’t appear on my screen but are obviously seen and being used on theirs. I personally play with no lines to make the game more interesting and more of a challenge. Buy when you see someone make a Massé shot three shots in a row I get pretty angry. I know it’s just a game but please do something about this. I love to play this game with players that don’t cheat. Thank you for listening. I’m not sure if your reading my review but I wish you would. This problem is completely annoying and is giving this beautiful game a bad reputation. This is by far the best pool simulator ever. The fact that your not doing anything about this problem troubles me and makes your game basically worthless in my opinion. Please address this glitch and make this game the best in the world.

### 5/5 — Just absolutely AWESOME

*2018-10-27, version 2.7.2*

Best couple of bucks ever spent! So many games and variations and opponents and control settings. No limit to the customization it seems. Pool has a lot of strategy to it that can be explored with this app.

### 5/5 — Surprised

*2018-08-28, version 2.7.2*

This little app took a while to figure out features and I think there’s more surprises. For a small pool app this one deserves the time it takes to shoot a few trial games. I think I’ll keep it and play for a while.
