## What is PoolHall?

Watch the live score move on your board in real time.

PoolHall makes it easy to run squares, pick'em pools, and survivor leagues with your friends, family, or coworkers. It works great for NFL and NCAAF, and squares boards work for NBA and college basketball too.

Squares is the main event. Set up a board for any game, let your group claim squares, and lock it at kickoff. As the score changes during the game, PoolHall shows you which square is winning right now. No more refreshing a spreadsheet or waiting for someone to text the group. The board updates as the game happens.

Pick'em is just as simple. The commissioner builds a weekly slate, everyone makes their picks before kickoff, and the standings update automatically when results come in. You can play straight pick'em or add confidence scoring, where each person assigns point values based on how sure they are about each pick.

Survivor keeps your group locked in all season. Pick one team to win each week. If they lose, you take a strike, and enough strikes puts you out. Each team can only be used once, so the easy picks run out fast. The field gets smaller every week until someone is left standing.

Creating a pool takes under a minute. Share an invite code and your group joins instantly. Players always join for free. Only the person running the pool covers a one time price when they open it, and there is an annual pass if you run several.

The app handles scoring and standings automatically. It also supports guest players, so anyone can join without creating an account. Commissioners can enter scores for custom games, build weekly slates, and manage their group from inside the app.

One thing worth knowing: PoolHall never moves money. Anything your group works out is settled between you, outside the app.
