Bei den MIDI Features musste ich einige Zeit ausprobieren, z.B. um ein gespeichertes Livepad Set zu laden, oder wie ich einen 6/8 Takt manuell eingebe. Regarding MIDI import: this isn't possible given the nature of the app, which is based on grooves and improvisation algorithms rather than long fixed sequences. That said, we'll look into how this could be implemented in the future. For 6/8 time signatures, it's actually easy: in "New Groove," just tap "Adapt Current Groove" and it will adapt your current groove to the selected time signature, as the button itself indicates. To trigger Pop Drummer sounds using your Alesis hardware, you must enable Sound Module mode within the MIDI settings. While any iOS-compatible MIDI controller should work, please ensure the MIDI channel matches. Regarding GarageBand, its AUv3 implementation has strict MIDI routing limitations that may prevent recording MIDI notes directly from the plugin; the most reliable workflow is using Standalone mode to export your MIDI file. I can access everything in standalone mode, but the AUv3 is broken on Mac. Wanted to use it for live performance but sadly I can’t. I have seen the developer's response and unfortunately I am aware of all that and the problem is that the app doesn't respond to any of it. I currently use one of their older apps without issue. ### 2/5 — Leider nicht wie erwartet *2026-04-06* Ich hatte eine universelle Schlagzeug App erwartet die endlich auf dem aktuellen technischen Stand ist wie z. B. AUv3 etc. Das ist nun wenigstens der Fall - im Gegensatz zu den restlichen ziemlich teuren IOS Apps. Weiterhin hoffte ich auf eine relativ vielseitige App in Bezug auf Rhythmen und Stile da ja „hunderte“ davon enthalten sein sollen, also ein wenig wie eine deutlich „aufgebohrte“ Version der tollen Metronom App die aber natürlich nicht AUv3 kompatibel ist). Aber zum einen finde ich keine Klassifizierung von Rhythmen wie Pop, Rock, Jazz, Latin etc. und zum anderen tatsächlich auch keine anderen Rhythmen als Pop und Rock. Also, wie im Namen versprochen, auch wenn die hunderte von Rhythmen, die eigentlich nur Variationen einiger weniger Rhythmen sind einem ordentlich in die Irre führen. Mit dieser Technik immer nur einen einzelnen zigfach variierten Stil pro App zu verkaufen, verdient man natürlich ebenfalls „hundertfach“. Zu schade für eine ansonsten gute und verständliche App mit sehr gutem Sound. Aber ich bereue den Kauf bei diesem Preis da ich nicht unendliche Variationen von 2 bis 3 Stilen benötige. It sounds like there might be an issue with App Store validation when using the AUv3 version. Here’s a quick fix: Fully close Cubasis 3. - Open Pop Drummer in standalone mode to confirm it’s unlocked and running as the full version. - Then reopen Cubasis 3 and load Pop Drummer as an AUv3 plugin. - That should trigger the correct authorization.
