### 4/5 — Good software to generate what I need

*2024-06-03, version 6.31.9*

Great for what I need. There are a few features that could be a little more robust. But I understand I’m on free version so I can’t complain!

### 4/5 — Useful, but could be better

*2024-04-21, version 6.31.9*

Definitely a useful tool for any UXer, but I wish it had more options for device size and type. It’s also a little finicky with the image cropping and may cause the prototype to not show all of the image on the screen at one time if your device does not match the one selected for prototyping.

### 3/5 — It’s great but…

*2023-08-05, version 6.31.9*

I can’t get my ACCIDENTALLY deleted project back. :(
Maybe make a deleted section so you can recover your deleted projects or permanently delete them.

### 4/5 — It’s a great tool.

*2023-03-31, version 6.31.9*

There was a little bit of learning curve but once you know it it’s a breeze.

### 5/5 — Awesome app

Very easy to use and really cool free features

### 4/5 — Great for instant wireframes to test

*2022-08-15, version 6.31.9*

This is such an easy on the go way to test out a wireframe. Would love to see a way that recently used font was at top of selection list.

### 5/5 — This app is a game changer!

*2022-08-05, version 6.31.9*

I used this app to create a proof of concept and it makes it so simple. Very user friendly, solid design, simple. 10/10 recommend

### 3/5 — Improvement needed

*2022-06-19, version 6.31.9*

### 5/5 — How simple!

*2022-06-12, version 6.31.9*

I kept trying to find a simple app for designing apps until I found this gem!!

### 5/5 — Useful for prototypes

*2022-04-04, version 6.31.9*

It’s a bit hard at first to get used to how this app works. But after using it for a bit, I’ve realized that this app isn’t so difficult to use. It was pretty enjoyable for me to be making a prototype app for one of my classes.

### 5/5 — Amazing!

*2022-03-30, version 6.31.9*

### 5/5 — Easy to use!

### 5/5 — Este es un electrónico perfecto.

*2022-02-19, version 6.31.9*

Este es perfecto.

### 4/5 — Good app

*2022-02-17, version 6.31.9*

Just wishes you could have more control over transitions like a timer also beyond click, and also how long the transition would take

### 5/5 — POP

*2022-02-06, version 6.31.9*

Amazing tool to outline your thoughts for an app flow!

### 3/5 — Good for prototyping, just missing some features

*2021-11-30, version 6.31.9*

Like renaming projects. Auto correct butchered one of my project names and for some reason there is no option to rename it. I checked Marvel’s website which states that you should be able to after opening a project or folder but for some reason that doesn’t trigger the option. I’m wondering if those instructions were meant for their OTHER prototyping app — in any case if the option exists it’s not very apparent.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Can’t adjust photos

*2022-02-24, version 6.31.9*

It is impossibly frustrating how difficult it is to adjust my images. Once I take a photo, I cannot even rotate the image. If the image I want to use is part of a larger screenshot, I am unable to zoom in on something near the edge of the screen…it just automatically bounces back to the middle of the image. It was so frustrating that I actually gave up and decided not to use the app at all. A shame because it seems like a fun prototyping tool for paper wireframes.

### 1/5 — Bugs and not professional

*2021-04-13, version 6.31.8*

This app has a lot of bugs, it is not professional, and it’s way outdated

### 1/5 — Terrible start and tutorial for this app!

*2020-09-18, version 6.31*

In reading about this app in the app store it really sounded like a great way to help in your learning curve to create an app. So I downloaded it and opened it and watched the tutorial. Is this app for kids and for simple kid-like apps? I really hope that there is a lot more to this app than what showed in the tutorial. From what I saw I have no desire to use this app because it doesn’t do what the information in the app store said you could do with it. The tutorial just has a young kid showing how to take a few pictures with the camera, determine where you want to put a hyperlink, add some very basic screen transitions and voila you have what your app would look like. Really!?!? If this is all you can do with this app it is not an app where you can create your prototype of the app you want to create. Why doesn’t the tutorial go into more in depth of what you can do with this app, if there is more to the app.
I started to create a sign-in for the app thinking there must be more than this silly tutorial. But while I was filling out the form I had to accept and allow the app including whoever the people are developing, editing, the app to have access to my info, my companies info, access to my projects, and be able to change any parts of my creation any way they want. Where is the security here? These people are strangers and they might all be well intentioned but how do I know that? Why isn’t there a way to get into the app without creating a sign-in to check out the app before you have to create an account. I want to check out the app to see if there is more to the app than that tutorial.

### 1/5 — Looks like a copy of marvel

*2020-08-01, version 6.30*

Even uses the same screenshots and copy.

### 1/5 — Glitchy and needs work

*2020-06-13, version 6.30*

I would get stuck on screens multiple time to the point where i have needed to restart the screen multiple times and it’s actually glitching as i write where i can’t see what i’m writing but my autocorrect is helping me. I would recommend getting a better app

### 1/5 — Not intuitive at all

*2019-09-20, version 6.21*

Deleted this app within less than 5 mins of using it. Can’t delete elements :/ not intuitive at all !

### 1/5 — Don’t waste your time

*2019-06-15, version 6.18*

Pretty terrible app actually, extremely basic and very hard to use. Don’t bother downloading it’s a waste if you time. I would list the issues but there are to many.

### 1/5 — Doesn’t function properly

*2018-12-21, version 6.12.1*

While the app would be great and easy to use, it doesn’t actually work. It’s most basic function, adding buttons which transition to a new image, is extremely glitchy. If I’m lucky enough to get the buttons to stay on the screen, they are always in the wrong place and the wrong size. A very odd glitch that completely breaks the app.

### 1/5 — Misleading

*2018-08-01, version 6.9.1*

A perfect genuine copy/paste of marvel!!! Exactly same thing

### 1/5 — Lost all my data

*2017-09-18, version 6.5.4*

I built 2 projects, came back today after not using it for a couple months. It worked fine for a few minutes, then all the images were replaced with grey placeholders. I tried signing in and then everything disappeared. Signed out, still gone.

All my hard work down the drain.

### 5/5 — Great for lo-fi Prototyping

*2023-09-06, version 6.31.9*

### 5/5 — Comentario

*2023-07-26, version 6.31.9*

Excelente herramienta

### 5/5 — Amazing tool!!

*2023-03-22, version 6.31.9*

I’m learning UX Design and was referred to marvel for easy method of transferring paper wireframes to digital. I didn’t know what to expect but I started a new project and have created paper wireframes for it and wanted to see what it was like using marvel. I am beyond pleasantly surprised at how easy it is!

You take pictures of your drawings and try cropping them to just the image you want to use. It won’t be perfect but it’s just to give you an idea. Then you can add links so you can create a prototype using the drawings on your phone. This has made test driving the buttons so easy and fluid so I know if I need to make changes.

Absolutely recommend this for anyone who spends a lot of time and care with their paper wireframe. Now I’m off to see if I can export any of this to Figma to see how it’ll be at making purely digital lo-fi wireframes to prototype.
