There's a few things i'd love to see in the future.... 1. it would be great if you could suggest your own "challenges". they're supper funny and are great prompts but sometimes you'll find a picture and be like "dang i wish this were a challenge" 2. it would be nice if you could reply or react to other peoples comments. I know it's a bit annoying when my friends post a comment and i can't just heart it or "😂" it. but that's pretty much it this is such a fun entertaining app! ### 3/5 — It’s fine… *2021-12-09, version 2.1.5* Okay hear me out it is a good app. But you have to invite friends to get an experience and if your friends don’t want the app you can’t do anything.. and the thing I hate is that if you select a photo on the app you can’t select more photos I only selected one and now I can’t have Any more photos… oh and you can’t post on your story other people do that- so if you have no friends you don’t have a story. If ur popular this is a very good app but I’m not popular soooo… ### 3/5 — Whats with the photos? *2021-11-25, version 2.1.5* When I go into the gallery there is only Live Photos and when it asks if you want to allow photos it gives u the normal options like “ all photos, select photos, and none” I selected all photos. But not even close to half of my photos showed up it was just Live Photos. They i went and changed it to select photos and selected the ones I wanted and it did the same thing only displaying Live Photos, some that I hadn’t even selected. ### 4/5 — Good App but Need more features *2021-10-16, version 2.1.0* Please add back the option where users could upload pictures from gallery. Another feature like showing the number of followers and people following you back would be great. Maybe a feature where users could upload short 15-30 second videos. Also a proper messaging system along with a comment section. Because when you try to comment, it just creates a group chat. More features like sign up with a email or have multiple accounts on a single device would be great. ### 3/5 — Review *2021-10-11, version 2.0.19* Well the app was working fine and was fun in till, a full or my friends couldn’t use our camera roll to post pictures of each other. And we tried everything to get it back like delete it and reinstall it didn’t work and even getting new accounts. Then we thought they just got rid or it but we compared with others and they still had it. I love seeing other people’s pops and see how much fun their having. I do however have a few recommendations. 1. I would really love it if you were able to instant message someone on their account. I think it’d be a great way to make friends and meet new people. 2. I think it’d be nice to have something like a for you page when you open the app to see people’s pictures or something like that. 3. I’d like if you could post videos and have something like a story option (Similar to Instagram) where something would only be up for 24 hours and could be edited and such. Other than that I think the concept is amazing. 😊 ### 4/5 — Great concept but needs a lot of work *2021-06-26, version 1.0.11* The core concept is really fun, but It needs a lot of work. Some very simple yet essential features are missing. Most importantly there needs to be privacy settings as I don’t like the idea of random people viewing my posts. Comments and descriptions of bios would also be huge. Other features such as geo tagging or filters would be nice as well but less necessary. I hope this app continues to grow and develop! ### 2/5 — Good idea, poor execution. Genuinely concerned about being unable to delete my account. *2021-06-14, version 1.0.10* The app idea was an interesting concept and I had fun with it for a day or two. Eventually the app lost its fun and I realized there’s not a lot to do with it. Because you are automatically connected to anyone in your contacts, people I barely knew would be on my front page and I could not do much about it. Overall it was not the best so I decided to delete my account. I also fear that because so many people can post onto my page, the floodgates can be opened to account raids that I cannot prevent with photos possibly not even of myself that are graphic or something of that sort. However when I went to delete my account it kept denying me the ability to delete my account. I started by entering my phone number, then using the verification that was sent to my phone number. After all that went through it would simply deny my request. I’m concerned that I’ll be stuck with this app, and due to my fear of an account raid, I refuse to leave my account unattended. ### 4/5 — In love but has some flaws *2021-06-12, version 1.0.9* This app is so fun, I love embarrassing my friends but I can tell lots of things could go wrong with this app. If someone’s friends post something that the persons acc there posting on doesn’t like this could lead to fights and be a huge problem. I also wish this app didn’t follow people in my contacts without my constant. Also there’s no selfie mode in the lense and this can be super annoying. I also wish this app saved the photos you take and post to your camera roll. ### 2/5 — an annoying bug *2021-06-10, version 1.0.9* I really love Poparazzi but today I have gotten this annoying bug where every single pop that has been posted today had 1 view which was really weird and I usually get more than 1 view. I tried contacting Poparazzi Support but it never worked. They messaged me that they had an algorithm and not all views show as your amount of views that is shown on your profile but doesn’t it seem a little weird that each post has 1 view and has 5-300 likes. That is a huge gap. Poparazzi please fix this and I hope it is a glitch and not some everlasting bug on the app to me. I hope it isn’t just me who is going through this. POPARAZZI FIX THIS ### 3/5 — More features *2021-06-08, version 1.0.9* I love the concept of the app and how it’s supposed to capture the moment with your friends without the worry of likes, followers, and etc. I think there should be a feature of allowing to comment so we can engage with that fun memory. I don’t like how it automatically syncs into our contacts as that can still be a safety hazard for people. There should also be a feature of just allowing only friends as in people that follow each-other back to view certain posts that we don’t want exposed to the public. The react feature is not my favorite as it doesn’t really do anything beneficial so instead should be changed to a comment section which I had stated. I also think that short videos should be allowed like 5 seconds or less keeping it simple but still fun. ### 4/5 — Love the app! *2021-06-07, version 1.0.9* This is app has such a cool idea and follow through. super cool concept, and totally less “stressful” than other social media apps! i think there is also room for improvement like potentially adjusting the sound l when you get notifications from the app. another idea would be about following - when someone signs up for the app automatically makes the account follow mutuals people which i hope can be fixed and maybe adding a feature of suggested followers ! ### 4/5 — is this a bug or what ? *2021-06-03, version 1.0.8* So far what i’ve seen of the app is amazing , looks super fun! But , my issue is that i can’t make an account. I have no clue why but everytime I enter in my age to start and account it says “Sorry , we are not excepting applications at this time. please check back later.” It’s said this for about 2 weeks now and all my friends already have accounts. how do i fix this ? the app is still great! ### 4/5 — Good but could be even better *2021-05-30, version 1.0.6* I think this is a great app and it has so much opportunities with some updates. First of all comments on post would be amazing so that it isn’t just reactions through emojis! I also thing you should be able to search by name and not just handle. I really love the app and thing it could become a fantastic app! ### 4/5 — Great app but needs improvements *2021-05-29, version 1.0.6* Paparazzi is a very fun app, it’s great if your a little bit younger and can’t get TikTok or Snapchat! It’s free and very easy to sign in! But, It does have a few glitches. Sometimes when you search something up it takes about a minute, usually it only should take a few seconds. I also have a suggestion, maybe make it so you can delete your search history. Obviously I know this app is very new and will have glitches. The last glitch I have seen is that it won’t let me tag anybody after I popped them, I took a picture of my friend and tried to tag them but their name wouldn’t show up. But overall this app is wonderful! 4 stars!! ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — WONT LET ME SIGN IN *2023-01-05, version 3.1.31* So first I had one account and then I made another account bc I got a new number so then I signed make in to my old account and I tried to delete it and it said it got deleted then I tried to sign back in to my new account with my new number and then it said that my deleted request is canceled even tho it wasn’t the number that was my in my old account so then I went and deleted it again and waited a couple minutes for it to delete and then I tried to sign in it said that I can’t sign in and that I need to calm or something it was soooo weird I deleted it and then downloaded it again and kept doing that 5 times and it kept saying that it was soooo annoying so if you download this and you have to accounts just let it be and don’t try to delete it bc it is sooo annoying and they need to not do that bc people want to use there app don’t make them not to ### 1/5 — used to love, now I HATE due to new policy *2021-08-24, version 2.0.3* i used to love this app. i could post funny pictures of my friends and be reminded of our best memories together. butttt recently they changed it to where you can’t take photos from your camera roll and put them into the app, you can only take pictures on the paparazzi app if you want to post them. NOW ITS SO BORING! my whole feed is stupid pictures of people doing nothing and it’s not funny or entertaining because in a funny or entertaining moment, people take pictures on their camera roll or snapchat... NOT this app!! nobody thinks to take fun pictures on this app, they only use it when they are bored with their friends and just sitting or something. awful update poparazzi. ### 1/5 — Removed features *2021-08-21, version 2.0.3* This app was fun but like many others have said it’s gotten boring. They took away the upload feature bc of “too many edited photos” or something along those lines. Even if they photos were edited it shouldn’t be taken away. Like I don’t see my friends that often and when I remember about the app I’m not with them anymore so I would just upload a picture of them from the last time we hung out. I cant don’t that anymore so what even is the point of this app. All I’m saying is that I don’t think I was the best idea to take away everyone’s option to post a pic from ur gallery ### 1/5 — Weird that others can post to a profile of you that you might not know exists *2021-08-04, version 1.0.14* As another review said, I think the app is a good idea but poorly executed. My main issue is that the app has a way of trapping you in, so you won’t delete it. Once you are bored of the app and want to get off the platform, you now don’t want to delete it because you won’t be able to monitor what people are posting to your profile. The scariest part is that people can add pictures of you to a profile, even if you deleted your account or didn’t have the app in the first place. (It will just appear as “This profile has not been claimed yet”) There are people at my school who have a tons of embarrassing pictures of them added to a profile of them, that they didn’t make & had no idea about. I guess it’s a smart business idea—they got me to keep notifications on at all times + keep the app out of fear. ### 1/5 — Terrible. *2021-06-01, version 1.0.7* When ever I tried to open up the app it said it’s not taking participants at this time. I tried everything restarted my phone, deleted the app and re-downloaded it and it never let me in. My friend has this app and it’s great! She’s the one who introduced me to it. But it never let me in I told it to my friends about how it’s not letting me in and some of them said they are also having problems. I just wanted to say that this app doesn’t let you in at some points. I’ve been trying this for the last week so it’s not like I only tried today I just want you to fix this. ### 1/5 — Terrible app *2021-05-29, version 1.0.6* I tried to delete my account 5 minutes after making it. I went to the official website and clicked on the email found there, emailed them and said I wanted my account deleted. Not two seconds later I got en email back saying “this email address does not exist.” Basically once you have it you’re stuck with it. Also, when it asked me to allow or not allow certain things at the very beginning of creating my account, I said to not allow contact syncing. Yet when I made my account the first thing it did was sync with all of my contacts. This app is literally a way for anyone to post whatever they want about you without you even knowing, you cannot make your account private and I cannot figure out how to delete it. Don’t download. ### 1/5 — wont let you delete account⚠️⚠️ *2021-05-28, version 1.0.5* Please Notice this Developers. WARNING before downloading this app please note there is no possible way to delete your account. They provide an email to the help center to delete your account but the email isn’t valid and doesn’t let you delete it. When you join they need your phone number and they automatically follow people in your contacts even if they are blocked. It just makes me really uncomfortable that you cannot delete your account and I hope they take this into consideration in the future ### 1/5 — DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS APP *2021-05-28, version 1.0.5* Look this app would be fun if you could make a private account, but for some reason you can’t. This means they will show your posts to anyone and everyone. Unlike instagram where even if you have a public account your posts generally won’t be seen by most people unless you know them. This app shows your posts to absolutely everyone no matter if you know them or not. Then to make it even worse they don’t allow you to delete your account. Yes, I know they say there is a way to delete an account by emailing them but this simply doesn’t work. It either rejects your email or even if they get your email they do nothing about deleting it. And lastly this app is a great way to get screwed over by people. ### 1/5 — This app is not okay! *2021-05-28, version 1.0.5* This app disregards people’s privacy. You can have photos of you flooding around the app and not even be aware of it. This app makes an account for you with just your phone number before you even get a chance to make a proper profile. This is a perfect set up for people to post whatever they want of you and it goes start to your profile. You have to go and personal take the photo down, no per-approval. You can even download photos of other people and have it saved on your camera gallery. I do not recommend partaking in the app, the knowledge alone that someone out there on the app can post me without me even knowing and representing its self as me is disconcerting. ### 2/5 — Needs some fix ups before it’s useable *2021-12-25, version 2.1.6* This app is a fun idea, I just wish they didn’t push some privacy issues for me. The app wouldn’t let me only give it access to select photos, it had the button to -but every time I clicked it the app would just ask me again and crash. This, combined with how often it would break and refuse to load photos, ultimately made this app useless for me. The app is really simple and easy to understand. My friends and I have had so much fun taking silly pictures of each other and I really love it! I really like the idea that I am not in charge of my profile that way i’m not so paranoid that I don’t look good or people won’t like it because I’m not the one posting it. It really helps with self-confidence and it’s really fun to see what everybody posts. It was super fun to be able to post random pictures on my friends accounts and people reacting to them. I first got the app when the beta version came out and I was overall excited for the release. Once the app released, many spammed all accounts, especially mine due to everyone being able to choose fun “rare” usernames and trying to show it off. Due to other people spamming my account out of excitement while I was asleep,I got banned, but i’ll be patient and wait for the option to appeal. Otherwise the developers worked really hard on this app and it shows and I can’t wait to use it in the future.
