Sign up to Showcase membership for free, get a ticket for £7. My local Odeon cinema also does not appear on the app, making this app and promotion completely obsolete. Either via home broadband or my phone supplier. Tried removing, restarting, re-installing the app 😢 ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — The app is so temperamental *2024-12-22, version 2.0.0* I’ve had the pass for almost a year now and at least 50% of the time it won’t even open to show the offers (yes, I have made it’s updated each time) ### 1/5 — Takes money during a lockdown when service cannot be used *2021-01-30* What kind of company takes a payment during a lockdown when the service cant be used and fails to email before or even offer some kind of extension. Bad business.. ### 1/5 — Absolute rip off *2020-01-12, version 1.2.5* This company claims to provide you with 40% off cinema tickets, which is an absolute lie. Upon entering the code on the cinema website, I was then asked to pay the remaining costs for the ticket from the cinema itself. It is not recognised as a discount at all. All I did was waste £15.99 for a yearly subscription and a further £26 for cinema tickets using the Popcorn Pass app. A nice little money making scheme with misleading advertisements. I’m still waiting to hear back from customer service with a full refund or I’ll be going through my credit card company, it’s fraudulent to say the least. ### 1/5 — Great... If you want to pay more! *2019-10-26, version 1.2.4* This app is fantastic if you want to end up paying MORE to go and see a film. Currently sat in a screening of a film with my family that should have cost £18.00, but via Popcorn Pass, cost over £21.00 Rip Off. Neither O2 nor Popcornpass was able help, both washed their hands off. Make sure you activate ASAP! ### 1/5 — Disappointed!! Not 40% OFF & Kids Movies ONLY *2018-11-08, version 1.2.2* Very disappointed, came with an O2 contract which they push as a bonus. The deals have to be bought in full. This is for 12months and only for PG films.
