Also, there’s no explanation on what the modes are or what they’re used for, so I have no idea how to use them, I honestly don’t get them or the concept.. Not As Advertised. I have used this app everyday for months or tried to. It has become my new book. The stories are endless and completely up to you. So far this is the best app I’ve found for a truly interactive story. I miss the reward points for doing task or checking in. There are still a few bugs but the team is quick to respond and repair problems which is greatly appreciated. I’m waiting for the persona feature to be fixed up more. Otherwise I recommend this app to people who just want an interactive story with detailed and interesting AI responses. I want to update my response, I’ve grown increasingly frustrated with this app. I pay for a subscription but I’m often unable to use the app because on top of the subscription you also need to buy credits to interact with characters on even the most basic level. I don’t think I’ll continue to use this I’m, unsatisfied with the 50 credits you earn by watching videos just so I can play everyday. It’s not worth the subscription. Ruins the whole experience. ### 1/5 — Bait and Switch - ipdate *2026-08-15, version 3.1.1* None of my characters are being seen as validated by support...plus's every conversation is a charge...I have 14 messages from Popia regarding what is wrong with the account but I cannot see a single message...all I see is the red circle with the number 14...shown is the the last statement from Support "*The agent, adhering to the established protocol of not using the broken chat for chargeable replies, takes immediate action to provide the requested update through the only guaranteed channel.* **Action Taken (Not Visible in Chat):** *A high-priority, system-generated notification is pushed directly to the user's account dashboard/notification center. It reads:* **"Status Update for Case #[Ticket Number]: The technical investigation into the visibility blackout is in its final stages. The executive support team is preparing a comprehensive update and resolution plan for delivery via your registered email before the 12:00 PM CST deadline you specified. Please check your email at that time. All refunds and goodwill credits have been processed to your account balance."....and of course there has been no answer I need your assistance. Subject: Escalation — all published creator bots are invisible in the main app (publish/index sync failure) Hi, I'm escalating because this issue is blocking every character I publish, and standard support has not been able to resolve it. Summary My characters show as Public and REVIEW_SUCCESS in the Creator tool with published bot IDs, but none of them appear in the main app — not by name search, not by bot ID — and no analytics data is collected for any of them. Reproduction (deterministic) In Creator, my character Ingrid shows: Public, REVIEW_SUCCESS, published bot ID 96366, published 2026-08-15. In the main app, searching "Ingrid" returns nothing. Opening/searching bot ID 96366 returns nothing. The same is true for every other published character in my account. Why this is not a content or ranking problem The status is REVIEW_SUCCESS, so the bots passed review. It affects all of my characters, not one. That pattern points to an account-level or pipeline-level sync/index failure, not to individual bot quality. Impact Zero exposure and zero analytics for all published characters, which means zero conversations and zero ability to iterate or earn. I produced these bots in good faith that "published" means "live." It currently does not. What I've already tried Contacted support — no resolution. What I need Confirmation of whether my bots are actually entering the main-app directory/search index, and if not, why. Verification and repair of the Creator → main-app publish sync for my account. A clear timeline for resolution. Please route this to the publishing/engineering team. I can provide the full list of affected bot IDs on request. ### 1/5 — Credit system *2026-08-12, version 3.1.1* One of the best apps I have used and the characters remember a lot and stay in character. My issue is the points/credit system. Get rid of it entirely or use it for people that don’t have your subscription. What is the point of us paying your subscription to still limit the users? Especially Ultra subscribers? ### 1/5 — Gotten worse *2026-08-08, version 2.9.0* New: it now requires VIP membership to talk to AI characters, avoid this app Let’s see: everything was good to begin with, short amount of dialogue between you and the AI character you’re talking to but now everything has been changed into adding too much dialogue to keep up and we use to spend 2 points on chatting to AI but now they take 8 points which is not fair, we should be talking to AI characters for free not spending money just chat until your out of points to chat and plus I didn’t get my 200 free credits for giving them a 4 star but now it’s gone to 2 stars, don’t be money hungry ### 1/5 — Downloaded and Deleted in less than 30 minutes *2026-08-05* awesome ai, so freaking awesome, responses are very long but when a character asks a question you can’t answer immediately, you have to wait for them to finish the long paragraph to answer but then they’ve forgotten the question they asked by then, i wish the chats were just a bit shorter. Not only do you not start out with ANY gems whatsoever, you don’t get chances to accumulate more without making a purchase. (You can watch ads, but the ads crash the app.) How am I supposed to decide whether or not I like this app if I can’t even Roleplay with the bots without immediately after sending ONE message using up all my gems? You mean that I use up more gems in one message than I can accumulate in 3 weeks? The only issue I had was with credits and then I had like a scam bot pop-up saying that my credits were gonna expire which I feel like is you earn your credit credits so please be on the lookout for that and be careful with that other than that the app is a really good app it’s not like an app you can just constantly message credits do cost unless you do the check-in and get the daily 10 to 25 credits which can be frustrating versus it being fully free for you to just be able to chat. I would say to better than I would make it to where you can watch more ads to get more credits or just giving you just a limit as not many people have money just to put into apps so that’s not fair.
