### 1/5 — Constantly locking up

*2026-05-08, version 4.7.0*

This app locks up constantly requiring shutting down and restarting my phone multiple times

### 1/5 — Zero support for laundry pros

*2026-04-27, version 4.6.0*

This company does not care nor protect laundry pros. Be very wary of using them. There is no support other than AI. Customers want you to not follow rules and put yourself at risk or jeopardize getting bad reviews from customers which then limits to you getting new business and you cannot give a customer any rating.

### 1/5 — App sucks

*2026-04-18, version 4.5.0*

This app sucks. I tried to sign up, paid the background check fee. Came back clear but the app never registered that I was good to accept orders and kept asking me to pay the fee again. Reached out to customer support and said they fixed but they didn’t. Do not recommend

### 1/5 — horrible

*2026-03-24, version 4.1.1*

horrible treatment for workers , thiugh i followed instructions on washing large size items it was still used against me but

### 1/5 — Severe decrease in orders.

*2026-03-19, version 4.1.1*

I miss how things were run with sudshare. It was more user friendly and I actually received multiple orders daily to choose. Since you all switched to the new app, I have yet to receive an order from any of my previous regulars and barely get an order pop up at all and I check regularly. If I do get a notification of an order available, by the time I get into the app it has disappeared.

I miss the income the sudshare allowed me to earn for my family. Definitely not happy with the current app.

### 1/5 — Start your own business

*2026-03-03, version 3.77.0*

I would rate the zero stars if I could . Honestly, this was very frustrating. I’ve done gig apps before and the payment issue is the one that irritates me the most.

You put all this time and effort to drive to locations that are out of way and the estimate of how much you will get paid for each task is not congruent.
The Payment cycle is abysmal and it’s always a waste of time. If you want to really make money like this, I would say just start a business. Honestly, you will have way more autonomy and you won’t be outsourcing your time with a company that doesn’t value your efforts.

### 1/5 — Shady support team

*2026-02-21, version 3.76.0*

I paid four dollars for them to do a background check on me, which they promptly told me that I passed and could then accept orders. The first couple of orders I start getting, I get a strange error message telling me that I’m not qualified for the order. You contact the support team and they tell you that they very vaguely with what information they have “access to” that you can’t use their platform, and wish you luck in your future endeavors. You’d think that after paying yourself for the background check that at least they’d be more aware of whatever reason exactly you can’t do it after all is. But yeah. For such high standards like they expect, they sure don’t seem to care to help you understand whatever reason you may mysteriously have just lost your money time and effort for for no reason.

### 1/5 — payments are terrible

*2026-02-16, version 3.75.0*

it’s been close to 4 weeks and they still have not transferred my earnings to my bank. still waiting to be paid. this is not right. i’ve reached out to support a couple of times and so far have been told lies. worst gig app to start

### 3/5 — App is so so

*2026-02-09, version 3.74.0*

I used this app to make extra money. It half works. Especially when I have an order.

### 1/5 — Rejected for “Violations” Despite Never Using the App

*2026-02-03, version 3.74.0*

I attempted to sign up to work on this platform but was informed that my access was removed due to “violations of the Terms of Service.” I have never used or worked with this service before, so this claim made no sense. I contacted support to request clarification and an opportunity to resolve what appears to be an error, but I received no response.

Being accused of violations without any prior account activity—and then ignored when asking for help—is extremely unprofessional. At a minimum, applicants should be given transparency and basic customer support when serious claims are made.

### 1/5 — Frustration and disappointment

*2026-02-02, version 3.74.0*

If you're looking for a job app to get annoyed with, you've found it. I went to pick up the second order on the app, which consisted of 3 bags, and 80% of the clothes were stained with feces, blood, and various bodily fluids... the worst of all were 4 reusable menstrual panties that were placed in a bucket and soaked in blood... So I contacted support, which started with AI-generated texts saying how unpleasant the situation was, showing complete concern and listing the customer's rule violations and the risk this situation would cause. Then I was transferred to a representative named Joel. He started by warning that it's normal for this job to have traces of feces, urine, and other bodily fluids. He asked for more photos, and I sent a video showing the amount of blood accumulated in a bucket. Then he automatically insisted that I had to finish what I started and dry everything before delivering it to the client for a mere $15, showing little concern for the situation. He even gave me the option to wash everything I had picked up, which contradicts the platform's own rules. He insisted several times that I wash what I had started and dry it to follow the rule of absolutely no wet clothes being delivered to the client. He's kidding, right? A liter of blood draining into my bathtub doesn't matter; the important thing is that the clothes are clean and dry. In short, now I'm here with 3 bags to return, 35 miles away, to receive $15 for this frustration, still feeling guilty because I'm supposedly the one who's wrong. I'm never washing anything again! If I had listened to the recent comments here, I wouldn't have gone through all this!

### 1/5 — Slave labor

*2026-02-01, version 3.74.0*

They basically are running slav trade and they’re keeping all the profit. Up to four bags of laundry, which took all day and they only pay out $25 if you value your time and yourself don’t do this. It’s an evil company with evil owners. They’re evil people. An evil intentioned company

### 3/5 — Question

*2026-01-19, version 3.73.0*

Does it require a full drivers license and what is the age requirement??

### 2/5 — App is fine. Working there, not so much.

*2026-01-16, version 3.73.0*

I got a bunch of orders offered really far, didn’t take them because why would I drive 30 minutes each way two days in a row?
Why would I do that… well the money is not worth it.
I finally get my first order. Not too far. About 20 minutes. The person had so much laundry, you have to separate it, took so many loads, they want you to dry on low heat, which takes even longer to dry. They had about 48 pounds of laundry. At .75/lb that’s only $36. So with about 4-5 hours of work (washing, drying, and folding, their way) plus a drive time, then they prefer you put a bow and a thank you note. That comes out to about $30 without expenses so making it a whopping 7.4$ an hour. Not worth it. Don’t invest too much before you do an order or two. I only did 1 and that was more than enough for me.

### 2/5 — Glitches

*2026-01-11, version 3.73.0*

The app just stopped working out of nowhere, worked great but there’s so many glitches.

### 1/5 — Terrible app with no support for laundry pros

*2025-11-27, version 3.70.0*

I have been a laundry pro on poplin for five years but definitely would not be doing again. I have continuous regulars who tip me 30-60% every single week. The last few orders have left distaste in my mouth. Had a client put in three regular bags for a rush order. I get to the residence and it is 3 yard size (55 gallon) bags. I still take it bc I know the max I can do in a day. It’s completed, dropped off before 8pm. Days later I get a complaint from said client but no mention of what was the actual complaint. Mind you I have a 4.99 rating on poplin and only ever received 4 star review 5 years ago and nothing besides 5 starts since then. The clients clothes, as always, dried and folded to perfection, bagged and separated just as the client asked. Contacted poplin several times and was never given a reason.

The last client is what really did it for me. New client, pretty close to my house. Put in an order for next day competition for eight regular sized bags. I get to the residence and it is 15 total bags. So I adjust the total in the app and take the order home. I spent 30 hours washing, drying, folding, and sorting based on the clients preferences. Comes time to weigh and drop it off and the client declines. I try reaching out to the client for hours, no response, try to reach out to poplin for literal HOURS no response. I get some reply via their chat literally three hours after I contacted them stating that the client needs to update their card info. I asked if they can call the client or what escalation can be done as I just spent 30 hours doing their laundry, and no response from poplin. Tried calling the only phone number I have for poplin (which is the line for an agent to help someone schedule a pickup for seniors) no response. I have sent an email, no response. Did some digging and for clients if their card declines we as poplin pros hold it for up to a week then we can donate their clothes but we are not paid?!? Filing a complaint with the BBB

### 3/5 — Keeps crashing

*2025-11-25, version 3.70.0*

Luv the service but the app keeps crashing. Please fix.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — DONT DO IT

*2026-07-21, version 4.16.0*

Worst App ever. Support team doesn’t help. PAYED $4.00 for background check for the page to not load and let me finish. Wasted money for it not to work can’t get my money back.

### 1/5 — Bad gigs

*2026-07-11, version 4.15.0*

I became diamond for no reason now I have less job they make me work. People don’t even give tips. They’re very special customers or rude It’s not worth it. Don’t waste your time and money.

### 1/5 — Missing money

*2026-07-07, version 4.14.0*

This app glitches every time I close it I’ve missed orders due to it having so many issues

### 1/5 — Not worth it

*2026-07-04, version 4.14.0*

I’ve watched all of the videos and I still can’t move onto the next section. Don’t even waste your time.

### 1/5 — Waste of money !

*2026-07-04, version 4.14.0*

They charge you a fee and if there are no orders, well then you have no orders . Don’t waste your money. They will not help you refund your money !

### 1/5 — Terrible customer service

*2026-07-02, version 4.14.0*

I accepted an order for $20-$22. It stated it was one bag and one oversized item. It was 12 miles away, so 48 miles total to complete the order. I got the order home and it was one HUGE rug that I didn’t have space in my house to clean and I normally carpet cleaner would not do the job. Also, an area rug IS NOT LAUNDRY. I messaged support and they said they would cancel the order. I asked them if I would be compensated for at least the mileage, nope. They said I could take it to a laundromat to complete the order, IT’S A AREA RUG!!!! 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️I called around to a couple companies in my area and that size rug to get cleaned is anywhere from $200-$350++ to clean?!?! And Poplin wanted to pay a measly $20 including 48 miles of driving. Absolutely terrible. What a joke.

### 1/5 — Background check

*2026-06-30, version 4.14.0*

I was never able to complete my profile because in background check, they took the money They never complete my background check every time I go to the final step. For some reason the app take me back to first step and I was never able to complete the profile and they also never gave me my money back. The money they took for background check fees, which is they never give me back and I did contact customer support. They told me to wait a couple hours and redo it again and it is the same thing. It’s been almost 3 months. And still same thing sadly I had to uninstall the app.

### 1/5 — Not a good company to work for

*2026-06-14, version 4.12.0*

I have had many good reviews. As soon as an angry customer left a bad review and complaint, my account was permanently removed from receiving orders. Really??? They forget how hard you work to reach a certain level on the app. They don’t care about the laundry professionals. I advise not to work for them otherwise you will regret it! They are sending the orders to the top ones only and whoever just sign up or in lower level will not receive orders for weeks or orders that are more than 30 minutes driving

### 1/5 — Constant Error Messages

*2026-06-11, version 4.12.0*

I have to use another phone to upload photos to take pictures of the detergent or laundry supplies or to upload photos of a completed order. Utterly ridiculous. Please fix now

### 1/5 — App glitch

*2026-05-13, version 4.8.0*

I really wish I can review the app 0 stars, it’s terrible. The lady gave me 2 blankets and thick sweaters but the lady removed them as oversize, and team agree with her. Now I want to delete my account, the app won’t let me!. Don’t matter if you follow the rules, they won’t care about you!.
