My order was picked up ahead of schedule, and then never delivered. I was told (after two days of begging for updates) the contractors car had been towed, then a day later it had been towed with my clothes inside, then by the end of the week that there was no contact with the contractor and my order had been stolen. Everytime I reach out (and I mean daily, sometimes hourly) I got a different AI bot response, which then sometimes went to an outsourced live chat, which then sometimes escalated to an email thread. Every one of those avenues had a repeated script of “your case is escalated and prioritized.” No one gave me a real timeline, no one could tell me what happens if a contractor steals your order. There’s no local backup, no phone support, and no one with authority to solve any problems or offer resolution. Eventually, I had to build my own itemized list of everything lost (over $1,500 worth), and was told that the best they could do was $450 cash and a $50 credit if I signed a liability waiver which requires I never publically speak about the company or my experience with them. If your order goes smoothly this app is probrably fine. But there is zero contingency plan if anything goes wrong and you’re fully at the mercy of whichever contractor you happen to get. I wouldn’t risk anything you actually care about. ### 5/5 — Laundry's handled, now my husband and I can enjoy our busy lives together *2026-08-23, version 4.52.0* Poplin has been a lifesaver for our house. Our washer/dryer broke down right when work got busiest for my husband and I, and finding a laundromat that fit our schedule and budget was its own headache. Now laundry just gets handled, and we get that time back for work and each other. It's such a convenient life-saver. Totally worth the money. #PoplinSweepstakes #PoplinChangedMyLife ### 1/5 — Useless *2026-08-23, version 4.52.0* I signed up excited to get help with laundry because it’s been hard to keep up with since having a baby. Four days in one week, including the weekend, I sign up to get it done. Basic service, no special requests, and every time it’s canceled because no one is available. All they do is send an email saying “this is really rare and we’re working on getting new people.” There’s no way to book ahead of time or see how many people are available, you just sign up and hope your order gets matched with someone that day. You can’t even give a window of time you’re willing to wait, you get a one day chance to get matched and if you don’t they just cancel it and you have to try again. ### 1/5 — Warning *2026-08-18, version 4.52.0* BE VERY CAREFUL. I’ve loved it until my last order, when the Laundry Pro, Jabian, failed to return my comforter and 6 clothing items. They will not reimburse me for anything UNTIL I REPURCHASE ALL MY ITEMS! Their employee loses my clothes, I pay for him to not give me my clothes back, and I also have to pay for new clothes and a new blanket in order to get compensation. And if you don’t have the original receipt for every piece of clothing you give, good luck, they won’t do anything for you. DISGUSTING!!! Never using this app again! ### 1/5 — Horrible service *2026-08-16, version 4.52.0* I had credits on my account and now all of a sudden, when I go into my My Account account, even though I used it over the last couple months, it’s only showing me my account information from 2023. These guys that are on the chat are not even in the United States. They’re probably in the Middle East And they are of no help. I have used this app for a while and have had nothing but negative feedback except for one laundry pro. Most of the other laundry pros don’t follow any directions and compensation is never given. ### 1/5 — App hasnt worked in 3 yrs *2026-08-05, version 4.51.0* Ive used the service abt 15x over 3 years. On every use the app has stoped gunctioning. Once you place an order. This means you have no idea if your laundry is being picked up. Your "laundrypro" is also unable to reach you to clarify or accommodate any change. Ive never once used the site when i didnt have to uninstall and reinstall. The glitches arent due to ipdates either. I reinstall the app dirrctly from the apple App store. ### 1/5 — Don’t stand behind their service *2026-08-04, version 4.51.0* I wanted to love this service because the convenience is great, but my experience has been extremely disappointing. Several clothing items were lost during my laundry order. Poplin acknowledged that the items were lost, but required me to repurchase them before considering reimbursement. Unfortunately, several of my missing items were handmade, discontinued, or purchased internationally, making that impossible. I reported the issue immediately, provided detailed descriptions and values, followed up multiple times over several weeks, and even sent a formal demand and executive escalation. Eventually, communication stopped entirely. Losing clothing can happen with any laundry service. What matters is how a company responds when it does. In my experience, the lack of meaningful communication and resolution has been far more frustrating than the original mistake. I cannot recommend this service based on how my claim was handled. ### 5/5 — Complete Lifesaver - Affordable, Reliable, Professional, and Quick! *2026-07-25, version 4.50.0* My coworkers and I found ourselves in a pickle due to having to extend a work trip. We were completely out of clean clothes, and the hotel wanted $12-$20 per each SINGLE ITEM of clothing. Did a quick google search for laundry services, and Poplin came up. I couldn’t be happier with the service. The laundry pro was so communicative, on time, and did a wonderful job with our laundry! It came back smelling lovely, expertly folded, vacuum sealed, literally tied up with a bow. Thank you, Poplin! Customers for life! ### 2/5 — Notification trash *2026-07-11, version 4.48.0* Demands that it “requires” notifications access, then offers no options and spams with begging you to use the service non stop.
