You can choose multi-colors (all colors) or a single color, but not a combination, red, white, and blue for example. There is an option designated by three dots, but when I tap on it, it only says “coming soon.” It’s said that for over a year. Most lights of this nature show a DIY option that lets you choose colors , but that doesn’t exist on this app. ### 3/5 — Why is it 17+ ? *2025-01-19, version 1.0.4* I’ve had my lights for a while and I broke the remote for it and now I have restrictions on my phone to; and now I can’t control my lights anymore because the app is 17+ I am slightly confused as to why it has such a high age limit if it’s just lights. ### 1/5 — Stopped working with Alexa *2024-04-14, version 1.0.3* This app no longer works with Alexa (as of 12th April 2024) making my smart lights now junk. ### 1/5 — As of April 2024 no longer works with Alexa *2024-04-13, version 1.0.3* This worked fine for me (and others) but recently something has changed. Before, the plugs worked fine but now intergration with Alexa is done. No plug response, Alexa reports server is not responding, can't enable the skill in any way, get "Error right now, try later". Tried all solutions and nothing. Can only use the Popotan app to control plugs. There was an update to Alexa but Popotan did not update as other apps did. ### 1/5 — Dismal App. Good bulbs *2023-11-29, version 1.0.3* So I got some light bulbs. I’d like to use them. You force us to register with you?!? Seriously? I just wanted to turn on my lights! Bulbs take forever to update. App is an example of how NOT to make a user interface. Very confusing & you must do the same silly things, over and over. Automation? Avoid this app at all costs. Magic Home & Hao Deng are fine examples on how to manage smart lights.
