I had to leave and find somewhere else to park or a waste of time. ### 1/5 — Doesn’t work. *2025-08-23, version 2.3.77* Doesn’t support Apple Pay, only way to pay for parking in certain areas with no cash alternative. You risk a ticket if you in areas with this system so just park elsewhere. ### 1/5 — Poor quality app *2025-07-28, version 2.3.77* First the app wouldn’t accept my reg number - failing with a repeated handshaking error, after multiple tries it accepted it but then it thought my reg number wasn’t valid. Then on entering my card details it errored again. Never had these problems with any app before - Shoreham Airport; there’s a reason why other parking areas use the standard parking apps! Didn’t work, my phone is up to date and good internet connection outside. Anyway, after fill all the requirements, personal details and location.. following the steps , literally when press pay .. no comand where made , no reaction from the app. Who wants to risk 100 pounds for few pounds . Send them an e-mail and I received an automatic reply saying that , after i have to wait 28 days and in 98% of them cases isn’t them fault. So , the app is not working, they don’t have a support team, they don’t have solutions and definitely they don’t have any blame or mistakes. This app is done in a hurry like you are making an omelette. This app cost me 100£ and I refuse to pay because of this app faults . I just read all the reviews and all of them are bad and critical. Install *2026-03-06, version 2.3.77* First of all, the application wouldn’t work at all after collecting your personal information as well as car details. Secondly, they would ignore all of your emails, including requests to delete your account. Lastly, spend a few minutes of your time and report them to Trading Standards and Apple Store. Don’t forget to report them for breaking privacy policy and GDPR. Poppay are scammers and fraud scum ### 1/5 — Downloaded and didn’t work *2026-02-05, version 2.3.77* I went to a car park today (05/02/26), that I thought was controlled by the local authority but it turns out you needed to have this Poppay app to pay. I downloaded the app, set up an account entered the parking location & entered my car details on the next screen. The app was asking me to select a bay but couldn’t select anything, nothing no drop-down no nothing. After that failed the next option was to select duration and I wanted an hour that worked no problem at all. But because I couldn’t select a bay, the app wouldn’t let me go further to pay so in the end after five minutes of trying, I drove away and went to a local authority car park. The local authority car park app worked first time no problem at all, okay it was dearer to park but at least it worked. Annoyingly, there’s no way of contacting anyone who works for Poppay to help so this app is useless. ### 1/5 — Don’t bother!! Cannot pay at the end, ever *2026-01-17, version 2.3.77* What’s the point of having an app to pay for parking that does now allow you to pay for parking 😅 every time coms up with a blank, grey screen at the end and I am unable to pay for parking ….
