THERE ARE NO PARTIES!!! *2024-08-30, version 4.0.2* If you live in the US, don’t waste your time. There is not a SINGLE party in the country on the map. Downloaded the app after moving to campus to look for parties near me. The app kept saying my location was on the complete other side of the country so I had to keep manually resetting my location. Then i tried to add my student email to see campus parties near me, and it kept giving me an “Error” message and kicking me out of the app. So after seeing how poorly made this app was, I decided to delete my account and remove the app— but what do you know!! I can’t delete my account either! You have to enter your phone number and press the “delete” button to confirm, and it kept telling me my “phone number format was incorrect”. I tried entering my phone number with and without the country code, and it would not let me delete my account no matter how i tried typing in the number. So yeah! Don’t waste your time! Glitched the entire time, didn’t show a single party in the COUNTRY, and wouldn’t let me delete my account. I would recommend not giving them your phone number or logging in through instagram because it seems like a cheaply and quickly made app created to gather your info. doesn’t do anything it says it does. ### 1/5 — HACKED *2024-08-22, version 4.0.0* Used this app last semester when I went to the b2b set at USC Lambda. Me and 4 of my sorority sisters instagrams ALL GOT HACKED just because we linked our instagrams thru the app. Would not recommend. ### 1/5 — Customer service is horrible *2024-03-12* I paid to go to an event that was shut down within 30 minutes. This app makes it impossible to get any help. Their support is a zoom call?? I tried to get a refund but all it does it requests it from the host and 9 times out of 10 if you’re going to a party they’re not going to refund you money. In that situation Poppin will do nothing to help you out and have no options on the app to get any help whatsoever. Currently going to file a dispute with my bank to get my money back. **Developer response:** Hello, We're sorry to hear that your experience with Poppin was subpar. We take feedback from our customers very seriously. There is a help button on party pages with paid tickets that allows you to request a refund for any reason. We understand more clarity is needed and we aim to improve our refund experience in coming updates. If it’s fixed in time for me to get my ticket I’ll change the review to five stars. When I open the app it says I need to update it but there’s no update available in the App Store. I even tried deleting and re downloading the app and it’s still broken. ### 1/5 — Terrible execution of what could have been a great app *2023-08-21, version 2.3.1* This is a party app that meets the bare minimum standards to have made it onto the App Store. It’s Horribly made and it clearly shows when engaging with the glitchy interface, certain functions don’t work at all.
