I have deleted the app/reset my phone and redownload and nothing changes. ### 3/5 — . *2023-01-18, version 3.61* N/A ### 3/5 — They won't ship APO *2022-12-09, version 3.60* Even if the sellers do ship apo normally through their own websites, this particular platform won't let them print the APO labels, so it will still charge your payment and be listed as 'completed'--without the order ever being fulfilled. Really discouraging. Living abroad can be hard enough, to not get a few fun things for myself and the kiddos using this platform/app is just a little sad. It's a small loophole, but it's one that should get fixed for the (albeit smaller) percentage of people who are assigned an APO as a primary address. ### 1/5 — HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE *2022-12-01, version 3.58* I won a giveaway of theirs for a $500 credit on a single purchase. I bought an item, which never shipped. After waiting 3 weeks I messaged customer service and had to wait a week and a half for a response. Then another week for them to actually say it was canceled, and they said the code was back on my account. I tried to buy something else, and the code wouldn’t work. Over the course of a month I messaged them roughly 5 times, asking for a new code that would work. They never responded once. It was an absolutely terrible experience, and I was jipped out of my credit due to their lack of care. I DO NOT recommend using this site! ### 3/5 — Okay *2022-09-29, version 3.57* Not great not terrible. I’ve had a lot better experience with customer service since I stopped receiving “help” from James and have been getting it from other staff members(he had a tendency to blame the person that had the problem instead of just solving the problem and ignored sellers that needed help that weren’t the young girls on the one show) ### 1/5 — good sellers, but non-existent support from PopshopLive team *2022-07-14, version 3.52.0* As a whole, the idea of this app seems innovative and fun. The sellers are great, the set up is decent, and there are unique items being sold. However, support from the PopshopLive team is completely non-existent. They are unwilling to respond to emails, DMs, or any other form of communication. For a platform that literally makes money because of the sellers, it’s unacceptable that they’re unwilling to provide even the bare minimum of customer service. They don’t seem to care about sellers (or customers) at all, and instead only on profit. While I do recommend PSL sellers (there’s many fantastic ones on the app!), please be aware that the PSL support team is abysmal, and try to support sellers directly on their personal websites instead. ### 2/5 — It’s great, as long as you don’t have an issue with your order *2022-06-26, version 3.50.1* I’ve been using the app since 2020 supporting a shop I’ve been purchasing from for a long time. From this perspective the experience has been great and when I have issues I can email them directly. The issue is with PopShop Live support itself and other sellers. PopShop support is nonexistent, they refer you to the shop in question and say they’ll reply but that doesn’t happen and PopShop Live support NEVER FOLLOWS UP. I’m currently dealing with an order I made almost two months ago on a single item that I never received. The app even shows the order unshipped. Before then, it took over a month of awaiting another seller to respond over an item defect I received. One of the advertisements of the app is to discover new sellers but what is the point when it takes forever to get an issue resolved? ### 1/5 — BRING BACK FREE SHIPPING FRIDAY *2022-06-10, version 3.49.1* Ok I have LOVED Popshop for a long time but recently, I don’t know what happened, they got rid of free shipping Friday which was the biggest day for sellers and buyers! Shipping is $6 which I don’t want to spend on a $2 item. BRING BACK FREE SHIPPING FRIDAY! ### 1/5 — Worst app *2022-05-30, version 3.48.0* It takes too long to become a seller. I’m disappointed. Update: I have contacted the Customer service 3 times, and they said that it takes 3-4 weeks for the process. But, now is more than a month. I haven’t been approved to be the seller yet. In addition, my phone turns too hotter, and the phone battery dies quickly when I use the app or the website of Popshop Live. ### 1/5 — Too many emails *2022-05-27, version 3.48.0* Unsubscribed from email subscription months ago and started getting them again. ### 1/5 — Only for US customers *2022-05-01, version 3.45.1* Why is this app available on international iTunes app stores when it can only be used by, and shipped to the United States? Customers shouldn’t have to go through downloading the app, making an account, and trying to set their address (with options for every other country btw) only to learn that they can’t actually use the service because they don’t live in America. Misleading and disappointing. It was a great app that had such a variety of different items and sellers. Customer service was great too! Until they got greedy over 2 years ago. Shipping cost increased to where it was more than what the actual seller website would charge, customer service became non existent if you had an issue(even sellers trying to help would share their emails with CS being ignored or gaslight) and finding stores/sellers who you once loved simply disappeared. Not to mention the more people logging in the more glitches would occur as their servers simply cannot handle the amount of traffic for large audiences. The once fun and affordable app with weekly or themed promotions disappeared to be replaced by non existent CS, high shipping fees and glitches too frequent to be brushed off. You name it. I would even make time for their streams. Unfortunately, this app fell off. Sellers began to make their own websites, seek other apps, and do instagram live streams. Very reasonable for them as popshop continuously made changes and increased prices, which led to loss of customers. Now, almost no one goes live and it is very sad to see what it has become. However, I do believe popshop created their own downfall because they clearly cared about the money and not maintaining clients and stores. The shipping rates was fair and amazing deals. Now it’s like they are gate keeping and only the best of the best can hang with them. And the shipping rate is way too high for what I purchased which was comic books. What a ripoff. If I could rate zero stars i definitely would. Not a happy customer. ### 1/5 — Unfair and probably illegal *2023-02-08, version 3.61* So on may the 4th of 2022 I was on a”Star Wars day” live hosted by a shop called “very neko” and during that live, they teamed up with the team at Popshop live to give away two tickets to galaxies edge. I WON THAT GIVEAWAY. I was in contact with Alex Kochanik in regards to getting my tickets sent to me. He offered me the tickets or $250 shop credit for the app. I chose the tickets because that was my dream trip. I sent him the address I wanted them shipped to and he said he would reach back out tomorrow with info on how to redeem the tickets. That was on May 18th of 2022. I have heard absolutely nothing since. I’ve sent multiple emails with no response. Even asked if I could just get the shop credit instead because at this point I had no hope in ever getting the tickets. I recently moved from that address I had given and went to email him to let him know or ask if it’s too late to change the address so I can figure something out. It was then I got an automated email from gmail that the email is no longer valid. Now I feel defeated, disappointed and highly upset. I’m also angry because as a company, they promised me a prize and haven’t fulfilled it. Or even kept me updated on anything. I’ll be getting in contact with a lawyer to see what options I may have. ### 1/5 — new update only pushes larger creators *2023-01-17, version 3.61* one of this app’s recent updates has removed smaller sellers from the main page. if a shop has had less than thirty sellers referred to join, they’re no longer on the main page. I feel like this app used to be great for smaller creators, but that’s changed now. this is awful, and unless something changes, my friends and I will no longer be using this app ### 1/5 — Not a fan of the new update *2022-12-18, version 3.60* There are a few things I like about the new update however I don’t like the small circle icons because there’s sellers that I don’t recognize based on their icon. The sellers name should be on them as well. Our recent purchase was the Tokyo hamburger ears and crossbody. She was very responsive to my messages and she delivered within just two weeks!
