That said, there are so many fun combinations. You can really tailor them to your image. I’ve been told I should frame mine. Since OS 13 it’s taking a long time to save. More than a minute. Love using it! ### 4/5 — Another Winner From Tinrocket *2017-12-14* Allows for gradient overlays with an impressive range of controls, e.g., dual color options, linear, radial, etc. DEVELOPER: Would prefer a different layout of the tools, as they show up above and below the image working area, and the accordion layout, while cute, wastes a good deal of precious screen real estate. It’s great to experiment with different colours and blends to get that perfect picture. It was such a shame when iOS 11 rendered this app ‘obsolete’ so well done to the developer for bringing this great little app back to life! ### 4/5 — Glad this cool app made the leap to iOS 11 *2017-10-14* I was worried that we’d lose this fun little App in the iOS 11 update as it’s pretty old and hadn’t been updated for a while. Thankfully the developers came through. Given the right photo, Popsicolor can make some really great and interesting effects. And when I take a picture to use from within the app, the choices are, use this picture, or, retake and neither button works - the screen just freezes. This app is useless to me. When I try my own or stock photos from the web, they are anything but cool. Maybe if I stop back 20 feet I'd get the effect, but close up its nothing but washed blurred preset colors. No was to adjust the intensity of the effect, or dial your own color, which might help the quality, I'm left with a uselss app. Not worth 99¢ let alone 2.99 ### 1/5 — Makes my photos unrecognizable *2014-02-15* I've used (and loved) a lot of photo apps, so I'm not sure why I'm getting such terrible results from this app. There seems to be no way to adjust how the filter interprets your photo. So I spend lots of time in other apps, trying to change contrast and white balance so this app can give me a recognizable result. Instead, I keep getting results that are too light, too dark, or just look like random parts of the photo were erased. Quality of watercolor results is exceptional…on par many times like a professional watercolor artist. Love the style options, size options, output options. I would say this app is minimalist in a great way…only the features you need and no confusion.
