Difficult to navigate, doesn’t load, lackluster presentation. Definitely a flash over function design. I hope someone realizes that a rework for function and usability would increase sales. ### 1/5 — Absolute waste of time *2021-09-26, version 1.3.3* A poorly ported version of the website with no thought or planning for the user experience. I literally downloaded the app and created a user account to give you my money… the lack of functionality has me struggling to get that task done. ### 2/5 — Almost, but not quite there… *2021-05-29, version 1.3.3* I think the problem with this app is that it’s not really useful for the USERS. There are multiple quick surveys throughout the app to help PopSockets figure out what people want them to make. You can’t answer any of them without creating an account/signing in, but after creating a username, I get an error message. As an app, it works pretty well to help you design grips, but if you want to check out any of the items they already have on hand and are advertising through the app, you just get linked directly to the site. If this app allowed you to do more without linking to the site or maybe even allowed you to design other products like popwallets etc., it would be worth having, but as it is, it just serves to gather consumer data and give you a shortcut to their full site, unless you like the idea of spending time creating something that you’ll hardly ever look at yourself, then…cool, I guess. ### 2/5 — Can’t sign in or create account! *2021-04-23, version 1.3.1* Lovely app, but I can’t sign in or create account! When I go to create an account, it says my email is taken, but when I go to reset my password, it says it can’t find my account! I’ve previously used Facebook to sign into the Popsockets website, so I wonder if that has anything to do with it. It would be great if we could get a “log in with Facebook” feature. ### 1/5 — Cant sign in *2021-04-04, version 1.3* Try as I might, it am unable to sign into the app with the same username and pass that I do in the website. I’ve even reset the password to double check. No dice. ### 1/5 — The WORST *2019-09-18, version 1.0.3* I ordered a custom pop socket, waited and waited and never received a shipment confirmation. Because there’s no number to call for support/assistance I had to use their chat forum. I was told there was an issue with the order and I needed to re-order and given a coupon for 40% off. I re-ordered another custom pop socket. I actually got a shipment email this time; however, 10 days later there was no tracking info. I used their chat forum again and once again was told their was an issue but it would be fixed right away. Was told it would be in the mail in 2-3 days. Waited a few days and never saw an email with shipment info. Used their chat forum and AGAIN was told there was an issue with the order. Was given another 40% coupon. There’s no point in coupons if I never get my order! I thought it would be easier to navigate than the desktop site but…not so much. ### 1/5 — Where are you customer service??? *2024-10-30, version 1.5.2* I’d love to give a great rating but I still haven’t received my order or ANY communication from them. I got a confirmation email that my order went through but I’ve had no shipping email and no response from customer service when I have emailed them asking about it. I spent a decent amount of money on their website and I feel like I just threw my money away. They have the basic stuff but also some really unique effects that I haven’t seen in other image effects apps. ### 5/5 — Fun & Easy Image Editor *2019-09-26, version 1.0.3* Popsocket’s new app makes creating artistic images fun and a little addicting by setting everything up for the user. It’s easy to add filters and move images around while trying different layouts and color schemes. Makes me feel like a professional graphic designer. :) ### 5/5 — PopSockets is Poppin’! *2019-06-10, version 1.0.1* As an avid lover of PopSockets I was STOKED to hear about their new app. The graphics look great and I especially love the photo editing filters. I just not a backspin Popsocket and I can’t even find the the part in the app where it times how long your phone was spinning ### 3/5 — Used to be useful *2024-12-07, version 1.5.2* I initially downloaded this app for a more user-friendly shopping experience on my phone. I soon discovered the fun feature for backspin grips. However, while it’s still pretty user-friendly for shopping, the fun backspin feature is gone. Plus, maybe it’s just me, but when I go to create s custom grip/case/etc., nothing happens. Selecting the item I want to customize just takes me back to the top of the page. I’ll stick with the website. ### 3/5 — Needs Apple Vision Pro app *2024-11-09, version 1.5.2* Love your products. Your app can reach more users as more companies and users are using visionOS.
