The Low rating is For A Reason! Putting in these goofy voices can’t be the excuse. Reading was a part of poptropica, shouldn’t there be an option to have the characters speak or not? So I don’t have to mute the whole gameplay? This game is Iconic! Don’t ruin it for my children. The nostalgia has been taken away. The formula was already suitable and enjoyable for all age ranges. Please bring back the old islands and character design features. I guess it’s fine that the characters talk but it’s definitely off putting at first. I get that education is important, but this cannot even compare to the older version of Poptropica. There we could change our characters and names individually, interact with other players, and there were much more quests of all kinds of levels that were way more entertaining to do.
