It has full cycle capabilities, from giving an item away, to customizing how much time you want it to be listed for, letting you know when the time is up, selecting a recipient, notifying all interested parties, helping coordinate pick up and the ability to say when it is picked up. I’m very excited that it’s continuing to grow and improve- since I first downloaded it, the developer has fixed bugs and continues to make it more make intuitive and useful- and there’s plenty of room to grow! The only downside is that it operates outside of networks like Facebook so we can’t scope people out before gifting (beyond the app). Would do much prefer if it had to be linked to an active FB profile for this reason (: ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 2/5 — So much potential *2025-04-16* For a couple of reasons this app is not intuitive to use after I’m used to Buy Nothing. And maybe it’s because people don’t check here as often as they look at Facebook but two people ghosted me after expressing interest in my gift. **Developer response:** Thank you for your feedback. I know it’s frustrating to have people express interest in your gifts and not pick them up. If you had multiple recipients for a single post, the app doesn’t yet handle that case well. However, the next version of the app will! Would you let me know what was not intuitive? But this app has given me nothing but problems and I havnt done anything wrong. The fact that I live in Redmond and drive to bend to get freebies was a problem and my screen name was a problem so I made a new account with my name and last name I also added a photo of myself and I got blocked again I have toddlers and a 10 year old daughter so this app was super helpful especially when my sister n law introduced it to me. Ofc it’s only in bend right now and I hope it thrives so much that we are able to have it here in Redmond as well I didn’t see a problem and the fact I got blocked on both accounts is absolutely ridiculous. Please take the time to read and consider me back on the app I was not doing any harm I was also going to post some freebies for others to enjoy. Just super disappointed people were great and nice except for that one admin lady that seems to have a problems there were no problems 😓 ### 3/5 — Great app, but… *2025-05-11* Too many rules; too many controlling admins; becomes a popularity contest. Not the free give/ helping neighbors exchange I’d hoped it was.
