## What is Porchswing Field Service?

Porchswing Field is the internal tool used by Porchswing Technology & Senior
Services technicians during the working day. It is distributed privately to
company staff through Apple Business Manager and is not available to the public.

Signed in with a company operator account, a technician can:

• See the day's visits on a calendar, as a list, or on the branch board
• Open a visit for the customer's address, phone number and notes, then call
them or get directions in one tap
• Say they are on the way, check in on arrival, and check out when the work
  is done
• Build the bill on the way out — the visit's own charge, parts from the van,
anything bought on the customer's behalf — and take payment
• Look up any client in the branch's book
• Keep the van's toolbag straight, and ask the office for a restock
• Message the desk and the rest of the team
• Send a photo and a line of story to marketing from a customer's living room

Everything syncs with the Porchswing Ops Console, so the desk and the van are
looking at the same day. The app works with no signal: check-ins, check-outs
and edits queue on the phone and go up when the bars come back.
