I live here and PorEsto has been my goto news source for a while.  It’s a lot more open about its biases than you’ll find in the US.  To me, that was refreshing.  The app has been trouble free.  It’s well organized and easy to use.  You’ll need to know Spanish, but that should be a given if you want to live in Mexico or follow the news here from a local perspective.
