## What is Portal Security?

Portal Security acts as a smart alternative to a physical keypad. It is an IoT app for remote control of CCTV systems, gates, lights – virtually anything.
 
Portal security works with www.portalsecurity.com services to give end-users seamless control of their monitored CCTV systems. Not only does it allow to check the status of your alarm or CCTV system, but it gives complete visibility and transparency of who has done what, and complete control who can access your property. Unlike a keypad, where no one knows who has the code, in this case new users can be added, and existing users deleted, with a single tap.

- Easily identify users with admin privileges via visual indicators.
- Admins can now remove managers directly from within the app.
- Managers can now suspend access from a site.
- When a lock’s serial is unknown, the last 4 digits will now display in Find My Lock to help you identify it.
- A cancel button has been added when deleting passcodes for improved control.
- Sites with an active gateway now show a gateway icon on the home screen.
- A helpful popup warning appears when a gateway has low battery.
- On first use of a padlock, you’ll now see a “Pull shackle to unlock” message.
- Sites that are physical controllers are now visually indicated for quick identification.
