Portertrac helps you manage available resources in demand-led environments and distribute tasks in real-time. Porter management ensures tasks are handled effectively, within service levels and identifies any exception to performance. Edit Task Details:
You now have the flexibility to edit task details directly from the app. Need to update task information or make corrections? It's now easier than ever to ensure your task details are accurate and up-to-date.

Create Tasks:
Introducing the ability to create tasks! Whether it's a routine assignment or a one-time task, you can now create tasks effortlessly. We've also added support for task templates, streamlining the task creation process by allowing you to use predefined templates for common tasks.

Self-Assign as Porter or Assistant:
Take control of your workflow by self-assigning tasks. Now, you can assign tasks to yourself as the main employee or as an assistant, providing you with greater flexibility and autonomy in managing your workload.

Equipment Map Screen Support:
Explore a new way to manage your equipment with the Equipment Map screen. Visualize the location of equipment items, making it easier to track and allocate resources efficiently. This feature enhances the overall visibility and organization of your equipment.

Improved Error Handling:
We understand the importance of a seamless user experience. In this update, we've implemented better error handling to ensure a smoother app loading process. If an issue occurs, the app will provide clearer error messages, helping you troubleshoot and navigate more effectively.

Self-Assign and View Pending Tasks:
You now have the ability to view and self-assign pending tasks directly from the app. This empowers you with greater control and flexibility in task management. No need to wait for task assignments; simply browse available tasks and assign them to yourself.
Multiple Task Equipment Types:
To accommodate a wider range of tasks and equipment, we've added support for multiple equipment types. Whether it's tools, machinery, or other resources, you can now specify the equipment type for each task, ensuring precise tracking and management.
Take and Leave Equipment Items:
With the new "Take and Leave" feature, you can now interact with equipment items associated with tasks. Take the necessary equipment at the beginning of a task and leave it once the task is complete. This simplifies equipment management and ensures nothing is left behind.
Associate NFC Tags with Equipment Items:
NFC tags are seamlessly integrated into the Portertrac app. You can now associate NFC tags also with equipment items for easy tracking and management.

Enhanced Push Notifications:
Push notifications will now make a sound even when the app is in the foreground. This ensures that you never miss an important update or notification, regardless of whether you're actively using the app or not.


Manual Update of Current Location:
You now have the ability to manually update your current location within the app. This feature allows you to provide your location using a tag scan, selecting location from a list or simply to update the location to the home location.


Reject Started Tasks:
We have added the functionality to reject started tasks. This gives you greater control and flexibility when managing your tasks. You can now reject a task even if it has already been started.

Enhanced Dropdown Option Filtering:
We have introduced the ability to filter dropdown options. This feature enables you to quickly locate specific options within a dropdown menu, saving you time and effort.


Swipeable Task Status Bar:
The task status bar within the task details screen has been improved. It is now presented as a swipeable card, allowing you to conveniently update task information with a swipe, just like on the main Tasks screen.
