I have been using this app for about ten years - I am now 76. Before I tried PortfolioTrader I had tried several others. The app is absolutely amazing value, I cringe when I think of all the apps I have paid for only to find that they are of little use and negligible value. Support for this app is excellent. On a few occasions I have contacted support and always received a very helpful response, usually within a day. I do wish it updated dividends automatically but I fully understand the problems this entails. I cannot recommend this app highly enough. The help section says I can use the + symbol to setup a portfolio and track a variety of holdings. The app does not allow me to do this. Clicking the + symbol just keeps setting up empty portfolios with no way to add holdings to them. The app also has a false listing in the App Store for in-app purchases. The purchases are not listed as subscriptions, but that is what is required. You cannot just buy the app and use it. You have to pay perpetually. Synching does not work, despite the developers hints. It is just junk and apparently abandon-ware now. It’s too bad because it did have a lot of potential. The developer has also gone to the subscription scheme so they deserve to go out of business anyway.
