## What is Portfolio Tycoon?

Build your portfolio and grow your Total Worth as high as you can!
Earn money and raise the capital to start your own company, invest in high risk areas or stay safe with a savings account.
Investment options:
- Savings account
- Mini lottery
- Bond
- Stocks !!NEW!! - With the all new stocks section, you can choose which companies to invest in, keep safe with slow growing reliable companies or risk it with newer, high risk options!
- Crypto

Pick a strategy or try a combination of them all!

Manage your investments as the world transitions through different periods.
Holding more stocks in growth periods will give you better returns, but watch out for occasional recessions where some companies will lose large amounts of value.

Control different aspects of your company.
- Expand it by investing in bigger office space.
- Select how much to pay your employees.
- Negotiate with other company owners who may want to buy yours.

Employ staff to help manage accounts, security and receive investment advice!

Don't forget to leave enough money to pay your taxes at the end of the year.

Face difficult financial decisions, win awards and choose how generous to be with charity donations. All of your decisions will impact how well you build your wealth.


EARN
This section allows you to earn money in different ways.
Once you have enough money, you can choose to start your own company. 
You will then be faced with many difficult decisions:
What wage to pay your employees, too little and they won't be happy, too much and you won't make a profit.
Whether to invest in larger office space to expand your company.
Whether to employ an Accountant to avoid any financial errors.
And many more!

INVEST
Choose from a variety of ways to invest your money:
Savings Account, pays you a set interest rate every week, a safe investment with guaranteed small returns.
Mini Lottery, your investment is placed in a prize draw every week, prizes range from $50-$1million.
Bond, your investment is locked away for a set term, all returns are then tax free.
Stocks, choose to invest in individual companies or a combination through ETFs, don't forget stock values can go down.
Crypto, extremely high risk investment, for a price you can employ a Crypto Advisor to give you pointers on when to increase your investment.

STATEMENT:
Keep an eye on your yearly statement, as you make money you will be required to pay more and more tax.
Make sure you have enough available money cover your tax at the end of the year.

REPORTS:
Look back at every week you play to keep track of your historic transactions.
Save reports from you history to look back at key events, big investment gains or lottery wins.

LOAN:
In case of emergencies you can always borrow some money, with varying interest rates.

NEWS:
Keep track of the latest news around companies and growth/recession periods.

Would love to see these added to the game. The ability to pay out dividends after you float your company. Similarly, the stocks you can invest in paying dividends like in real life. Seeing the ownership percentage of the company you buy stock in. Buying enough stock in a company listed (becoming the majority shareholder) and getting the income they generate or the ability to merge your company with that company.

i play the game for awhile right, then i log off. but when i try to open the game again it crashes and won’t let me open my previous save. in this situation i even tried making a new save to continue playing, but it would freeze my screen every time i tried to hit play. i eventually had to delete the game and redownload just to start over and even after doing that it happened for a second time. 

would be 5 if this didn’t happen.
all i want is for the game to actually work. :(

Game goes by week. News items you can invest with happen annually. Returns are pretty consistently silly, while valuations are low. 500 employee company making 12.5K per week, 650k profits per year? Worth less than $1M.

Game basically drives you to some strange financial decisions and watching lots of videos early. The weekly cadence makes any allocation to safe assets terrible. You have no personal salary or anything like that to help you

Enjoying this game and think it has great potential, would like to see expanded depth in what you can invest in (eg more types of funds, bonds, more companies) and business development (more depth of features).

One big complaint is that my tax bill is based on my business income (revenue) and my business staff costs are not being deducted, so I’m paying tax on revenues, not profit, which makes it extremely hard to play as you get further as tax bills are ridiculously big. This seems like a pretty big bug.

Please Add Diferent Crypto Currencies and also put employee wage at the company as tax deductible and Savings Accont should be 4%
And Also add new game modes one example: sandbox mode, you could change your starting cash, if you have a company or not, chosse stock prices at the start, how much % the savings account gives and how much tax % you have to play
