## Newest reviews (10 of 34)

### 3/5 — Not working properly

*2013-10-19*

Nice and simple but not showing any history ios 6.1.2.

Font size used for values is too small - red against black background is hard to read.

It would be nice if simple graphs showing trends could be displayed simultaneously for several holdings at a time.

### 4/5 — Good enough

*2011-11-29, version 1.0.3*

Buying price missing must but still helpful app. Push notifications when prices reached would exceed expectations making it superb...

### 2/5 — Needs improvement

*2010-06-01*

Don't buy this until it is improved. You can't input the cost price of each share. It just calculates current portfolio value

### 3/5 — A good apps with potential improvement

*2010-01-27, version 0*

This application eliminates the mundane work of keeping track of my portfolio.

It would be great if I could add in my buying prices for the various stocks monitored. The information would be come in handy when I decide to purchase/sell.

### 4/5 — Casual Trader

*2010-01-26*

Works great, doesn't seem to allow you to punch in your purchase price but rather bases you change off the last trade. Awaiting an answer from creator. Other than that, so far it seems quite useful.

### 5/5 — Clear, Simple, Effective

*2009-12-22*

Easy to use. A quick and clear way to keep up to date with my Portfolio's performance. I have some foreign shares, and this is the only app I've found that copes with them, and it does so seamlessly. Great to see it updated to support stock indices.

### 2/5 — Missing Symbols for Copenhagen Stock Market (CSE)

*2009-12-03, version 0*

Not able to fine two needed symbols on CSE - BAISMA and BAILAT. Would be nice to see my gain/loss on each symbol.

### 4/5 — Must Have for Global Portfolios

*2009-11-19, version 0*

Very slick and simple. Handles currency exchange factor as well. Have emailed developer regarding questions on inputting stocks into portfolio. Very prompt and professional response! Uses Yahoo symbols, so a bit tricky to input but once done - sweet! Should allow for entry of specific buy/sell information.

### 3/5 — Needs Basis Input

*2009-11-13, version 0*

Nice app to track daily gains/losses but would be a great app if you could input your per share basis and also be presented with total portfolio gain/loss and percentage return.

Would earn 5 stars if the above feature is added by update. Another nice addition would be market indices.

### 5/5 — Highly Recommended

*2009-11-11, version 0*

This app is great as a clear and simple tracker of any stock portfolio. But if you own foreign shares, then it's a must have. No other app can track my foreign stocks like this one.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Portfolio World Stocks

*2013-09-27*

Crashes with no support

### 1/5 — Rubbish - do not bother

*2011-12-20*

1) no starting position.......
2) app crashes constantly......
3) rubbish icon......
4) extremely basic
         Do Not bother !!!!!

### 1/5 — Don't buy this software

*2010-04-29*

It's a terrible piece of software. It's a glorified calculator. All it does is to multiply qty to current market rate and show. This is not called portfolio.

### 1/5 — Useless for ASX listed ETFs

*2010-03-30*

Unfortunately Yahoo doesn't provide reliable prices for Australian exchange trade funds so this app was useless for me.

### 1/5 — Not Happy

*2010-01-30, version 0*

Not Happy...on the iPhone App Store, it states that this app supports the "Thai Stock Exchange".....I bought it in reliance on that and after downloading, the app does not support the TSE.....

how do I get a refund??

### 1/5 — Portfolio crash!

*2010-01-20*

Yes, decent presentation, but I agree with other critics re App's inability to input stock purchase prices - renders it far less useful. Also, now it has decided to crash during each price update, even after phone reboots: crashed 15 times whilst updating today's Oz Market prices. I too would like my money back; it's not as if this was a $1.19 cheapie!

### 1/5 — Average

*2010-01-13*

Nice looking App, but useless for portflio management as it does not allow the purchase price of stocks to be entered

### 1/5 — Hard to understand!

*2009-12-23, version 0*

One can't enter the date when the shares were bought, nor the amount paid for or the commission charged in the portfolio tracker.

Useless app!

### 1/5 — Poor Design

*2009-11-25*

What a waste of money - you can't enter the price you orginally paid for shares as it always takes the price of the shares as you input into the application. I purchased this application to track the overall value of my portfolio which I can't do. Can I have my money back?

### 2/5 — Too dark

*2013-06-24*

Preferred the older version. Better, lighter colours. This version is too dark. Also the history of how our selected shares have done over 1 mth, 6 mths & 1 year had gone. Can only see 1 day! Bring back the previous version please.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Simple, clean, functional

*2013-10-31, version 2.0.1*

Exactly what I wanted - a clean portfolio tracker that's not loaded with ads and just does what it's supposed to. Was surprised at how rare that is in the app store, so glad I found this!

### 5/5 — Best app for stocks

*2013-07-20*

As far as I know this is the only app which keeps track of an international portfolio with real-time currency conversions. It's also beautifully designed and a pleasure to use. A must-have if you own stocks in more than one country!

### 5/5 — Great Update

*2013-06-25*

App has just been updated with a brand new design.

If you are after an app to track stock prices and portfolio performance this is definitely worth buying.

You can have both a portfolio and watch list running at the same time, track indices

The stock search function is great especially when you are looking for stocks in foreign markets.

Charts look good when you rotate the iPhone.

### 5/5 — Superb, highly capable app

*2013-06-25*

I was a keen user of the original Portfolio app. This new, completely rewritten version is even better. Does everything I want and presents the data in a clean, clear and useful way. Highly recommended.

### 5/5 — Excellent update

*2013-06-24*

I've been using this app for years now. It's been to best I've tried. Simple and effective. Thank you for the brilliant update to this app... It just got a whole lot nicer.

### 5/5 — Welcome back

*2013-06-24*

Superb App. does everything I want apart from date stamp on each page.

### 5/5 — Excellent

*2012-01-25*

I've used for over a year now. It is easy to enter all your share holdings and number of units and it tells you the gain/loss for that day. Also the total value of all your holdings. With all the volatility in the markets at the moment I like to keep a close eye on my portfolio.

### 5/5 — Great app

*2010-05-10, version 0*

Great app fo anyone with investments in international markets. Interface is simple and clear. Would give 5 stars if the app included Belgian market

### 5/5 — Easy but powerful

*2010-02-16*

I love the simplicity of this app. Yet it hides a power that no other Stocks app has - I can track the value of my portfolio in $A, even though I own stocks that trade in Australia, the US and Europe.
Such a simple idea, well executed.

### 5/5 — philip

*2010-01-02*

This is a clear and precise tool, advise was at first needed from the writer, this was prompt, concise and well presented. Well done Josh
