There are many apps that don’t need that and this app is my first seeing it do that. P.S.: Yes, alerts ARE working working now for some reasons, BUT there’s no way to delete them 😐 **Developer response:** Update: A quick clarification: while alerts currently can’t be completely deleted, they can be edited or disabled. We know that full delete functionality would be helpful, and it’s something we’re considering for a future update. Regarding your point about adding stocks without transactions , that’s exactly what the Watchlist is designed for. It lets you follow assets without affecting your portfolio’s performance or requiring buy/sell entries. Thank you for your feedback! However, Portfolio X ticks all the boxes for me - and, importantly, the Australian market is well and truly covered. I’d be very happy to recommend Portfolio X. Thanks again for your support! ### 5/5 — bug *2025-02-22* Bug Report: On Mac, the version number in “About PortfolioX” is different from the actual version number. For example, the version number in the Apple Store is 1.28, but in “About PortfolioX” on Mac, it shows as PortfolioX 1.2.18 (1). The issue occurs every time, with the 4th and 5th digits (e.g., .1) being different. This causes some software to incorrectly prompt for an upgrade. This issue may require the development team to update the version information to resolve it. It’s recommended to report this to the relevant technical support or have it fixed in the next update. **Developer response:** Update: We’ve released PortfolioX 2.0, and the internal version number now matches the public one! The mismatch occurs because the "About PortfolioX" section in macos displays the internal version number, while the App Store shows the public release version. It can track specific purchases and let you know how your investments are doing over time. I’m not sure how live or slightly delayed the prices are, but they are good enough for general tracking purposes. Frequent updates from a responsive developer are adding features regularly. If you are a paying customer, you shouldn’t be the product and have piece of mind as little data is being collected as possible. **Developer response:** We take privacy and data security very seriously. The only personal information required is an email, and all other data collected is strictly for app analytics, and error reporting that are standard industry practices to ensure the best possible user experience. It can track specific purchases and let you know how your investments are doing over time. The big concern, however, is that it converts all currencies into whatever default currency you select, with no option to have stocks just show in their actual currencies. As a Canadian who holds both Canadian and American stocks, it makes it confusing, with current stock prices appearing as too high or too low depending on the default currency selected. **Developer response:** Thank you for your detailed feedback and for sharing your experience! Highly recommended! ### 5/5 — Super Feature Rich! *2026-06-07* Love the deep analysis that the app provides for each stock, including richer stats, previous earnings calls and transcriptions, related events, % held by institutions vs retail, insider trades, and so much more! The dividends insights are super nice, including upcoming events and “economic calendar” view. Couple of recommendations- can you consider adding iOS widgets for metrics like Portfolio, Dividends, calendar view? And maybe a way to re-order and customize the home page (gets cluttered quickly). Das einzige was mich bis jetzt gestört hat, ist das ich die Suche über ISIN extra einschalten muss. Wenn man das nicht weiß ist es umständlich mit der Suche. The developer was very responsive and issues were resolved :-) UPDATE 2: now my portfolio has disappeared! :-( UPDATE: issue is now resolved :-) The concept is good. But added some UK stocks that I own. But the latest prices are not correct. For example, it shows latest price as £600 rather than £6.00. The problem doesn’t exist for US stocks.
