## What is PortfolioPerspective?

This is an app for long term investors who want to keep one or more portfolios of stocks and ETFs in balance.

ENTER YOUR POSITIONS
You enter your stocks and ETFs along with the number of shares. The app automatically looks up the price.

SET TARGETS
You set targets for what percentage of your portfolio each individual security should be. When you go out of tolerance, the app will let you know which ones are too high and which ones are too low.

EXAMINE YOUR BALANCE
See all the details of your amounts and targets in the Detail View. Get a quick look at which positions are closest to their buy and sell thresholds in the Bar View. Or see an overall picture of your balance in Pie View.

GET NOTIFIED
You don't spend all day watching your stock prices change. The app updates your prices in the background and lets you know when you go out of tolerance.

### 2/5 — Great idea

*2020-10-05, version 2.1*

I liked this app and it’s concept. The problem I had was it wouldn’t load ticker symbols consistently. Sometimes they loaded and stayed other times the symbol wasn’t recognized. Sometimes when I closed the app and reopened it some stocks disappeared. If this app functioned properly, it would be a great tool for analyzing the balance of a portfolio.

**Developer response:** Sorry about that, I think iOS 14 might have broken some of my previous workflow. I'll try to get it updated when I get a chance.
