## What is Portle?

Portle is an investment ledger for people who want a record they can inspect, edit, and keep outside a brokerage app.

Start on your device or connect Google to keep the ledger in a Google Sheet you own. Record buys, sells, dividends, fees, deposits, withdrawals, and adjustments. Portle calculates holdings, gains, income, cash, and performance from those transactions.

WHAT YOU CAN DO

- Review current holdings, allocation, realized gains, dividends, cash, and portfolio returns
- See which value chains your holdings sit in, and which of your holdings are linked to one another
- Estimate the monthly income if you sold everything and kept the after-tax proceeds on deposit
- Compare your ledger quantities with your broker balances
- Draft transactions from broker screenshots, pasted text, CSV files, or Excel files
- Review every AI-read transaction before it is saved
- Write portfolio rules in plain language and check them against your ledger
- Find possible duplicates, unreadable rows, missing dividends, and other entries that may need attention
- Estimate country-specific tax effects for supported regions
- Keep a Drive ledger editable in Google Sheets
