## What is Poru?

You open Instagram for a minute.

Twenty minutes later, you're still scrolling.

Most app blockers try to solve this by simply locking you out. Poru takes a different approach.

When you try to open a distracting app, Poru gives you a moment to pause. Complete a quick wellbeing activity before continuing - helping turn an automatic habit into an intentional choice.

LESS MINDLESS SCROLLING. MORE MINDFUL MOMENTS.

Instead of fighting your phone habits with willpower alone, use those moments of temptation as reminders to do something good for yourself.

With Poru, you can:

• Block the apps that distract you most
• Add intentional friction before opening them
• Complete quick mental wellbeing activities
• Interrupt automatic scrolling habits
• Be more intentional about your screen time
• Build healthier digital habits over time

WHY Poru?

Traditional app blockers focus on one thing: keeping you out.

But sometimes you genuinely want or need to use an app.

Poru focuses on the moment in between - after you reach for an app, but before you start scrolling.

Take a moment. Do something for yourself. Then decide.

Pause. Reset. Then scroll.
