I like to think about this app as a natural evolution of the traditional drawing mannequin. As artistis around the world started supporting it and appreciating it, it eveolved beyond my best expectation in what it is now. Muliple mannequins, shuffling of parts, export of 3d models and much more. The screen space rotation method and others automatic features make your posing process fast and dynamic. Pose and view your reference just the way you need it and strengthen and improve your human figure drawing skills or export the 3d models for your 3d projects. Poseit was born as my personal tool to help me drawing the most challenging poses, during the lockdown I had to spend my vacations at home and I gave myself the challenge to polish it and publish it (yes it is my very first app). I hope it now can serve others as good as it served me. But astoundingly versatile once you get used to it! And a very affordable price for pro features, which by the way is a one-time perpetual license. I had have no reservations supporting this developer The one thing I might like to see is an ability to import models. I realize with a grain of salt, large enough file sizes may be hard for a mobile app to work and must be considered and managed. The library available is already very helpful, don’t get me wrong. But I will start coming across more specific needs (such things as youth or plus size characters) that I have some trouble getting right in the character editor, as well as specific props I would like to have in my scene. Which to a point becomes unrealistic for the developer to supply everything ### 5/5 — You can tell the creators genuinely cared for the app *2026-07-28, version 2.2.1* Sometimes it’s a little difficult to get the exact pose, but all the poses you could ever want are possible to create within the app, and the free version is really enough to work with for anything. You can have multiple characters, change all the joint positions, change the camera angle and the angle of all the limbs and the character themselves. They even have interactions with the floor to make it easier to make seated positions. I mean there’s really nothing more I would want out of an app. I only got pro because I wanted to support the app tbh (and it helps to unlock the hand features and the werewolf head can open its mouth and adjust the teeth and expression which is just fun) it’s SUCH a lifesaver for my art! Notes: I would like the free version (or even the paid version really, since I’m paid ) to come with a more androgynous manequinn (something not quite curvy as the female, but not quite muscular as the male, maybe more “lanky”) I know there’s ways to change parts and I’ve settled for it, but sometimes it looks a little unnatural and isn’t quite what I’m looking for. Also body types with a little more fat on them might be nice, but I understand the difficulty in accomplishing that and appealing to everyone. ### 5/5 — One of the best 3d poser apps I’ve tried *2026-07-20, version 2.2.1* Just as the title says, this is definitely one of the best 3d poser apps I’ve ever tried. The 5 dollars for the full app is completely worth it!! Simple and straightforward yet incredibly powerful. The more realistic proportions are just more helpful compared to more stylized apps like MagicPoser (though I’ve enjoyed that too!). There are so many small details here that just speak to being built for artists who need a quick pose reference. Sticky feet for fast foot posing (feet automagically flex the toes to make contact with the ground if the foot isn’t posed flat); the unique touch interface system; being able to save custom poses ?? I’ve seen paid apps that don’t offer this! Being able to lock/pin specific body parts is also FANTASTIC. Also you can create more stylized proportions in pro using the modified mannequins like HELLO? If you didn’t know, you can pick any movable body part from any of the mannequin presets and mash them together, in addition to SCALING each part however you like and then saving it as a preset! I tend to draw my heads larger than realistic so this was so so helpful. It took me a couple minutes to set up a scene to my liking, export it to photos and then drop it in my art app as a reference. The cherry on top is that the dev only charges a flat rate for the app—I’d pay it twice over happily! If I had any dev suggestions, I’d say maybe more props, or possibility to import low-poly .obj files. Also! Not sure how hard it is to separate limbs into their own rigs with the figure rigging setup, but that could be a fun way to add multiple limbs etc. ### 5/5 — Best pose reference app *2026-06-23, version 2.2.1* I have been using this for a few years now and its the best one I’ve used, and has the most intuitive way of moving the model. It is definitely worth the money (thank god its a one time purchase and not a $20 weekly subscription). But I would pay extra for things like more different models, like different body types, props, shapes, etc. Though you can actually edit models and scale parts of the body and save the edited models, though in doing this a lot of times they end up being anatomically off, such as the neck being too short and things like that. And more pre-made poses would be nice, though you can save poses you make to use in other scenes. One issue I used to have is it crashing when I tried to save scenes. But that doesn’t happen anymore, it just freezes but eventually saves. I have had clients give me screenshots of models in this app to show me poses they want their characters in for commissions, so that can be another use. 5 stars. Edit: Pls buy the full version and donate to support the creator!
