Simple and straightforward yet incredibly powerful. The more realistic proportions are just more helpful compared to more stylized apps like MagicPoser (though I’ve enjoyed that too!). There are so many small details here that just speak to being built for artists who need a quick pose reference. Sticky feet for fast foot posing (feet automagically flex the toes to make contact with the ground if the foot isn’t posed flat); the unique touch interface system; being able to save custom poses ?? I’ve seen paid apps that don’t offer this! Being able to lock/pin specific body parts is also FANTASTIC. Also you can create more stylized proportions in pro using the modified mannequins like HELLO? If you didn’t know, you can pick any movable body part from any of the mannequin presets and mash them together, in addition to SCALING each part however you like and then saving it as a preset! I tend to draw my heads larger than realistic so this was so so helpful. It took me a couple minutes to set up a scene to my liking, export it to photos and then drop it in my art app as a reference. The cherry on top is that the dev only charges a flat rate for the app—I’d pay it twice over happily! ### 4/5 — Some stuff to add *2026-05-05, version 2.2.1* I think making an option where characters can be translucent can be helpful for trying to find good pose. Cool app! ### 5/5 — My Honest Review and Ideas (please read) *2026-04-01, version 2.2.1* The following subjects will be in brackets [My Idea for Poseit] [Poseit App Review] [Youtube Art Channels] Dear Maurizio and others reading this, I’ve been a traditional artist since I was a kid. I’ve loved drawing from a young age and have been continuing to grow in my art skills. I want to say this is a perfect app for drawing if you don’t have enough money for a Bodykun figure $14-$100 or MAYFEX figure $115- $200. So far it’s helped me quite a bit, but I do have to say I’m also still trying to figure out how to draw people. For me I can’t get the right dynamic pose to make the character I’m drawing feel “alive”. I’ll eventually figure it out though since I’m watching more anime tutorials on YouTube. [My Idea for Poseit] Something I think that could be added to Poseit is a screen filter that allows you to see multiple vanishing points to get different dynamic perspectives. This would allow me to draw wider scenes and allow me to better understand foreshortening with characters. I’m unsure how you would be able to add this as a feature, but if you could that would be awesome. It would also make it easier for people who want to draw the fish eye effect. [Poseit App Review] I think it’s great and I hope you keep building on it Maurizio. Also I payed for the premium on this app and it was worth it. Especially when compared to “Magic Poser”. Also just giving you a tip here for the future, don’t ever make the app have subscriptions. If you’ve noticed, most apps that have subscriptions don’t do as well as one time purchase apps. [Youtube Art Channels] (This will be updated later) I’ll list the Art channels I use below; Draw Sessions (Creature artist, 30 years experience, worked with the movie and gaming industry) Kesh Draws (Artist for 15+ years, made comics) ### 4/5 — Underrated… needs some work *2026-03-26, version 2.2.1* This is seriously a very underrated app. It’s easy to use after you get used to it, and the free version is actually usable unlike a lot of other similar apps. The pro features are locked behind a one time payment of $5 rather than a monthly subscription which is even better and helps it stand out from other apps like it. I’ve already seen an improvement from my art since I started using it, and am considering to buy the pro plan. The biggest downside to this is that there isn’t much options in the pro plan. I would like to see more options added, such as more creatures and animals, and more props. I would gladly pay more money for to unlock more options. What helps this app stand out is the user friendly interface and the fact it’s cheap yet good. Many other similar apps lock everything helpful behind expensive monthly subscriptions most people can’t afford. I believe that this posing app can easily be a go to for thousands of people if there were more options and it kept its one time fee for unlocking the other options. One other quick thing I do enjoy is that the female body model is part of the free plan. Many other similar apps lock the female body behind a paywall for some reason, so I was so happy to see that there is both a male and female body option! ### 5/5 — My review/REALLY GOOD!🌷/*Honest* *2026-02-08, version 2.2.1* Initially my expectations were very low just like my expectations for any other 3D art posing app but I’m actually very pleased with this app! And trust me I have tried every pose 3D thing on this App Store and this one is overall the best it’s free and so fare no ads and it has lots of mode for free in the actual app hes there are those pro things for different people and hand pose but there are still good free poses. So once you get used to the controls in this app you will love it overall this is a very good app and needs more hipe ❤️❤️❤️!! ### 5/5 — Best pose reference app *2026-02-05, version 2.2.1* I have been using this for a few years now and its the best one I’ve used, and has the most intuitive way of moving the model. It is definitely worth the money (thank god its a one time purchase and not a subscription like everything else nowadays). I would pay extra for things like more different models, like different body types. Though you can actually edit models and scale parts of the body and save the edited models, though in doing this a lot of times they end up being anatomically off, such as the neck being too short and things like that. And more pre-made poses would be nice, though you can save poses you make to use in other scenes. One issue I used to have is it crashing when I tried to save scenes. But that doesn’t happen anymore, it just freezes but eventually saves. I have had clients give me screenshots of models in this app to show me poses they want their characters in for commissions, so that can be another use. 5 stars. ### 5/5 — Best posing app! *2026-01-28, version 2.2.1* Only 5 dollars one time payment for the full features and plenty of things available for feee (male, female, and gender neutral dolls). It’s a bit buggy at times, but $5 for the premium version is honestly a great price. Wish there were more props (especially animals) and maybe a few more models, but I get along fine with my custom models. Overall it’s absolutely worth the price, whether you get premium or not. I love the various different models. My favorite part about this is that it’s not as stylized as magic poser, so it’s easier to translate for me at least. Literally my only issue is that I wish there was more body diversity or at least a way to edit the models to have a different body type. Blank grey screen, flashes up “made with unity” then bombs out. ### 1/5 — Was good *2024-10-06, version 2.2.1* Until everything got shoved behind a paywall ### 1/5 — Cannot edit the lighting at all *2024-06-16, version 2.1.4* I edit the lighting to change the colour or brightness, and exit it to look at the pose to see how it looks and decide I want to change the lighting, I open the lighting up again and it completely resets entirely, colour brightness, everything, so even if I just want to modify the brightness of the second light, or the change background, the main primary light will always reset and screw me up and every time I change it back, and close the lighting to open it up again, it will reset again. The file reset does nothing to fix it, I’ve reinstalled the app(Which got rid of all my saves). I was really enjoying the app until this, because lighting is the one thing I struggle with, and I loved how easy to use the lighting in this app is, but if I to keep practically starting the lighting over from scratch every single time I open it, just to make one small change than this isn’t for me. ### 1/5 — Don’t waste your money on this app *2023-12-22, version 2.1.4* I donated the maximum of 7$ back when the app was new and it worked fine, but when I got a new phone I tried to buy it again TWICE and it didn’t work either time. A five star app when you spend the money, but it’s just not worth it anymore. Developer doesn’t take feedback, no new major props or software have been implemented in several months. It’s only recently (the past few months) that I’ve noticed how buggy and unstable it’s gotten. I can no longer save or overwrite a scene without the app crashing, and although it still saves it, it’s very frustrating. Along with that, sometimes it just crashes whenever it wants when I’m in the middle of creating a pose/scene. I really love this app, but it’s becoming more of a hindrance than anything else. Edit: The app now doesn’t seem to stay open without crashing for around a minute or so on a new scene, and it still crashes when I save a new scene or overwrite another. I don’t understand why. But as it is right now, I can no longer use it. ### 1/5 — Terrible *2023-06-03, version 2.1.4* Probably the worst posing app I’ve ever tried, it seemed cool at first because you can pose characters with weapons. But, I find it impossible to use. The joints can’t be selected, and the forearms are completely stiff, making it hard to pose the arms. However, the biggest problem is when you have a section of the body selected, sometimes instead of moving normally, it starts to contort and twist in on itself. I have no idea why that’s a feature, but considering that it isn’t easy to use if the first place, it’s definitely not worth it. Also I’m 75% sure most of these reviews are fake, considering how basic the app is compared to other ones like it. ### 1/5 — Ads failed to load error box *2023-04-12, version 2.1.3* Please find a way to fix this. The app is unusable because of this box popping up every second failing to load ads. I even bought pro just to see if this box would go and it still just keeps showing. (The free version is also very good) The lighting engine is absolutely amazing and helpful to define shadows! The only thing is that I’d love is an update with more types of props, and maybe even extra body parts/types like wings. But astoundingly versatile once you get used to it! And a very affordable price for pro features, which by the way is a one-time perpetual license. I had have no reservations supporting this developer The one thing I might like to see is an ability to import models. I realize with a grain of salt, large enough file sizes may be hard for a mobile app to work and must be considered and managed. The library available is already very helpful, don’t get me wrong. But I will start coming across more specific needs (such things as youth or plus size characters) that I have some trouble getting right in the character editor, as well as specific props I would like to have in my scene. You can have multiple characters, change all the joint positions, change the camera angle and the angle of all the limbs and the character themselves. They even have interactions with the floor to make it easier to make seated positions. I mean there’s really nothing more I would want out of an app. I only got pro because I wanted to support the app tbh (and it helps to unlock the hand features and the werewolf head can open its mouth and adjust the teeth and expression which is just fun) it’s SUCH a lifesaver for my art! Notes: I would like the free version (or even the paid version really, since I’m paid ) to come with a more androgynous manequinn (something not quite curvy as the female, but not quite muscular as the male, maybe more “lanky”) I know there’s ways to change parts and I’ve settled for it, but sometimes it looks a little unnatural and isn’t quite what I’m looking for. It'll take practice to make the most of the mannequins, of course.
