I suffer with chronic PTSD and have to deal with mentally distressing episodes daily. The only way to deal with them is to engage mind and body in pleasant tasks. I am very pleased to state that POSITURE’s NEWEST interactive game ‘HOOPS!’ does just that! As you can see, the game requires physical maneuvering by the player to pick-up a basketball…aim at the backboard…and shoot. This is waaaaaay different from any other games I’ve discovered in the AppStore. What makes HOOPS! ideal is that it mentally puts and keeps me “in the present moment” - the key to dealing with my condition. Like Positure’s sister games of “Shapes” and “Discovery Island”, it provides complete hand-eye-body immersion, calming the mind, and returning the brain to something akin to ‘factory settings’. My sincere thanks to POSITURE for the brilliance of their perspective and innovation.
