## What is Posso?

Posso gives each kid their own list for the day and a reason to get through it. They check off what is theirs to do, earn stars for each one, and spend those stars on rewards you have set up ahead of time. If they skip the work, there is no prize, and they figure that out fast.

The list only shows what matters right now. In the morning they see morning chores, and the afternoon and evening ones stay folded away until it is time. Bigger jobs like tidying a room can carry a short checklist underneath, so "clean your room" turns into three specific things instead of an argument about what clean means.

Everything else sits behind a parent PIN. That is where you decide who does what on which days, using one grid for the whole family. You choose how rewards work: a star bank with a prize list, a weekly allowance based on how much of the goal they hit, or plain tracking with no rewards at all. Each kid has a page with charts and an activity log, so you can see how the week is going without asking. If you have a dog, a cat, a fish, a bird, a hamster, or a rabbit, tell Posso once and the pet chores are added with age-appropriate defaults.

There is also a swear jar, off unless you turn it on, and it works both ways. A kid's slip costs a few stars. A parent's slip puts money in the jar or pays stars out to every kid, and yes, the kids can report you.

Posso works on iPad and iPhone, and your family's data syncs between your own devices through iCloud, as long as they are signed into the same iCloud account. There is no account to create, no server, no analytics, and no ads. Nothing leaves your devices except through your private iCloud, where nobody else can see it, not even us.

## Version history (last 3 releases)

### 1.2.2 — 2026-09-06

Set up the family once on the iPad, and the same kids, chores, and stars show up on your iPhone. A chore checked off on one device is checked off on the other a moment later. Both devices need to be signed into the same iCloud account, and that is all there is to it. Nothing goes through us. Your family's data moves only through your own private iCloud, where nobody else can see it.

Posso is also much faster, especially on older iPads. Tapping a chore or scrolling the home screen used to stall for a moment on the iPad we test with. Now it responds right away.

### iOS App 1.2.0 — 2026-09-03

Swear Jar: a new both-ways accountability jar. Kids lose a star for a bad word; grown-ups pay into the family jar. Everything runs behind the parent PIN, and it's off by default.

Also in this release: faster loading on older iPads, a day view that opens to the time of day that actually matters, a refreshed starting chore list, an updated Help section.

### 1.1.0 — 2026-07-18

No release notes.
