## What is Post Matrix Scan?

Scan and decode Data Matrix codes on franked mail (DV-Freimachung 1.54, Internetmarke).

FEATURES:
- Scan Data Matrix codes using your camera
- Import images from your photo library
- Enter hex data manually
- Quick Actions: Long-press the app icon to scan, import image, or enter hex code
- View detailed code information including:
  - Sender identification (crowdsourced)
  - Product type (letter, parcel, etc.)
  - Postage value
  - Submission date
  - Customer number (EKP)
- Contribute sender identifications to help the community
- Support for German and English

This app decodes the data encoded in postal Data Matrix franking codes, giving you insight into postage information that would otherwise be unreadable.

Includes the current product catalog V60 with all postage rates.

Scanning is more reliable when camera permission changes, the app moves between foreground and background, or several lookups happen close together.
Photo import now uses less memory and clearly shows when an image is being processed.
FRANKIT results now show only the clear type name, without a potentially confusing machine-manufacturer subtitle.
Settings now links to the documented iOS language controls and the privacy policy. The App Clip also has improved privacy access, naming, and integrity checks.

Three more code types now read cleanly: Frankit, Filiale, and Briefankündigung — each with the right sender shown instead of a confused error.
Frankit codes now name the franking machine's manufacturer too — Neopost, Frama, Francotyp-Postalia and friends.
Detail view hides empty sections — no more blank product or postage rows on codes that don't carry them.
Sender lookup got steadier: parallel scans no longer step on each other and trigger random "verification unavailable" errors.
