### 3/5 — Login screen is clunky and slow

*2024-04-15*

Logging in gives you several options too many, I don’t use the app frequently and while I have my login info saved, I don’t always remember which login it’s under. This added frustration in logging in and ultimately decided the content wasn’t worth the moments of frustration.

### 3/5 — Was a worthy app

*2024-04-06*

I loved the app. Somehow my original account was hacked and I lost my points and saved articles. When I sign in now with the same email address, my profile is missing. Thanks.
Edit: 4/6/24 So, I recommend some 2FA, at least so we can pretend to have ownership of our own stuff. Forgive me, I am disheartened over this one. Could have been one of the best news apps.

### 4/5 — Great vision and objective, still very poor UX

*2023-12-26*

Repeat login issues + lack of iPad view are my main pain points.
after that information architecture feels very unclear.

really hoping this will change in a few versions.

### 3/5 — Needs IPad support, and better relogin memory

*2023-12-22*

There is currently no iPad support, which means I get a tiny IPhone version on my screen. Not acceptable for a social media app. Also, it constantly forgets me, forcing the entire relogin process—that also is a barrier to frequent use. Great concept, please address the shortcomings

### 3/5 — Issues

*2023-10-21*

The app is difficult to use. It has issues with user friendliness. Now too, they are trying by I go around the Apple system and do updates from within the app. I’m wondering about the honesty of this company.

### 3/5 — Post for iPad

*2023-10-10*

I don’t understand why is it so hard to make Post compatible with iPad. Reading articles is very strainful for the eyes on the phone, I prefer to read on the iPad but alas, it only opens vertically to the size of a phone. Shame!

### 3/5 — Needs work

*2023-09-19*

It’s a cool idea that has been implemented sub par. The interface is clunky, the text far too large, and a little difficult to find the like and comment button if you don’t really know what you’re doing.. to start with the text, not everything has to be a head line. Not every headline has to have part of the article in it, especially with such large text. Including the image, The individual articles take up the whole screen. We should be able to see multiple articles in a single scroll. That, plus the “read for 3 points” separating the text and image makes it very confusing, felt like I was in another article entirely. As far as commenting, it’s kind of bizarre how when you tap to comment, there’s a whole section in between the article and the comment section that says “more from this news agency”…

Honestly the whole app seems a little thrown together. Maybe take a cue out of a social network’s playbook when it comes to design.

### 4/5 — Lost my account

*2023-08-21*

Not exactly sure what happened but I was on waitlist, got all set up with handle, following etc. and I logged in tonight, it’s all gone yet my FULL name I never use is there no pics no post nothing? Head scratcher.

### 3/5 — Appearance

*2023-07-04*

I mainly use mobile apps on my iPad because of the larger screen. The post app when the iPad is on it’s side, I can’t get the post app to fill up the full screen. It seems to be the same size as the iPhone app. Please adapt so the app for the full screen. When the app fills the full screen, it is a much better user experience. Thank you

### 3/5 — Not there yet

*2023-06-24*

No iPad support and no ability to post from other apps. Otherwise, a civil platform unlike those run by sociopathic billionaires.

### 2/5 — Works poorly on iPad

*2023-06-22*

1. App doesn’t take advantage of larger iPad screen. 2. App gets confused after rotating 90 degrees. It won’t rotate back to the original orientation.

### 3/5 — Tablet/iPad Pad version?

*2023-06-18*

A writers platform on a tiny mobile phone screen, really? Was this created for toddlers?

### 2/5 — Truth Social For Angry Liberals

*2023-06-18*

I joined the BETA early to find a similar engagement solution to Twitter w/o the political drama. Unfortunately, it’s clearly overrun by the Left and is an echo chamber similar to Truth Social.

I’ve submitted requests to give an option to auto hide or block all political posts and accounts clearly focused on politics (since they’ll turn anything into politics). As of my most recent login no solution had been implemented.

I only downloaded the app to delete my account since the web still didn’t have the ability and I knew due to iOS rules the app would have to include an account deletion ability.

The solution itself isn’t bad. The pay to view an article that can be found for free searching on the web is odd. There’s just no reason to use it since it’s not any better than Twitter.

### 1/5 — The UI is horrible on iPad

*2023-11-20*

This appears to be yet another application written for iPhone but nothing else. We need n alternative to Twitter for following news but, sadly, it appears that this isn’t going to be it.

### 1/5 — I don’t get it, plus app is crap

*2023-11-07*

I really tried but I don’t get paying for news that’s readily available? The app has a lot of issues as well so I finally uninstalled. EG: I keep getting email summaries I didn’t subscribe too and there is no unsubscribe in the email. When I click the link it goes to the web, then it’ll finally open the app - but it wants me to log in. Upon logging in - I still had to dig around to find a way to unsubscribe. Whenever I did try the app it wanted me to re-login. I have 1000 apps and do not memorize a PW for each one. Give me Touch ID or I just give up after repeated re-login requests. I finally uninstalled when I realized I wasn’t even using the app because of the login issue 🤷🏻‍♀️

### 1/5 — Sketchy

*2023-11-05*

This app has never had the uptake it needed, many high profile first adopter backers have bailed, and the app seems to skirt App Store rules. Don’t like where this is headed. I might occasionally check in on the desktop — the browser web site doesn’t even work on my phone anymore.

### 1/5 — Utterly unusable

*2023-07-23*

Terrible. Unable to create account. Unable to verify.

Tried creating new account. “Account already exists”. Try to to reset password. Failed. Try again.

Useless.

### 1/5 — Try again. Buggy as can be.

*2023-07-11*

Did they even test the app? Just trying to give a genuine try.

### 1/5 — No longer works after 1.25.0 update

*2023-07-08*

iPad mini 5. Does not work any more.

### 1/5 — Stopped working

*2023-07-08*

Worked yesterday, doesn’t open today🙁

### 1/5 — How about some notes about how it works

*2023-07-05*

Possibly the most aggravating buggy app yet. All the nonfunctional blank screens. The not saving of profile info. Is this actually an app or does it operate in the default browser - complete lack of info. I was spitting mad after 5 minutes of not actually being able to read ANYTHING

### 1/5 — Buggy and not well designed

*2023-06-19*

There’s no login prompt when opening the application. You have to go to create an account with email before you finally find the login. And then after inputting your login credentials it may or may not actually login. And don’t leave the app because when you come back you need to start all over again.

### 1/5 — No free articles, low quality app

*2023-06-16*

Every article is paid and I am interested in 0 people in the feed. The app feels like a website that was poorly packaged into an app instead of feeling like a native iOS app. Standard system interactions and gestures don’t work and the whole thing feels out of place on iOS.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — My favorite place to get news

*2024-01-05*

By far the best place to get real news. Loads of great content, civil discussions and fun tidbits as well. Great job done by the Post crew. New and thoughtful ideas updated regularly. Keep up the good work.

### 5/5 — A superb job by the Post team

*2023-12-22*

Post is still a very new app and service, and it works remarkably well.

### 5/5 — I love it

*2023-09-19*

I love buying the article I want to read instead of slamming into a paywall or having to buy a subscription. The conversations are really valuable as well. I have learned a lot from the civil conversations. I find there are a lot of interesting topics — it actually goes well beyond news.

I open this app several times a day.

Thank you.

### 5/5 — Kindness & Functionality

*2023-09-02*

The people are actually NICE with each other - you can’t take that for granted nowadays, particularly not on social media! The App works very well and I love it.

### 5/5 — Like their URL, Post Is All About News

*2023-07-30*

Post. has a a decent selection of news organization posting on it’s site. And most importantly, no right-wing trolls filling your feed with misinformation and race-baiting.

### 5/5 — More than Politics here

*2023-07-12*

Increasingly like the old fun Twitter! It’s a good time to join—this platform is so easy to use. I’m being patient while they continually add new features. The tone of this “place” overall is relaxed. I’m very happy to be there.

### 5/5 — Great job

*2023-06-24*

Post is great for staying up to date with national and world news. The micro transactions are nice for ad free articles. Everyone seems to engage with each other in a civil way which is a breath of fresh air from other sites.

### 5/5 — Awesome app. Better than twitter

*2023-06-16*

Love this app. Great community.

### 5/5 — Great way to share news.

*2023-06-16*

Love the app

### 5/5 — Engagement without enragement

*2023-06-15*

Respect. Users verified for real, not money. No algorithm fueled trolls. Options to buy articles not subscriptions and to reward creators.
