Go back to this app being free to use for people who don’t have the money to pay for a subscription ### 4/5 — Review update. On second thoughts there is more to see following further use. *2026-02-19, version 4.0* Updated thoughts. Will persevere with this item. Seems to be more to see, so willing to stand to be corrected. Sub auto renewal is still cancelled…..for now. Now I know what goes into the address area and HOW iI get a response, helps so much. Also, I had no idea that bus services are featured here, or post box collection times, at time of going to press, were here. A little undersold being honest. In my local area, the post office is no where near where it actually is, and out of 6 postboxes I can think of only 2 are shown on the map. I can’t trust it to be accurate in any other areas I care to search. I recommend that you don’t waste your money like I did. ### 2/5 — Postcode search *2023-04-23, version 2.7* Address in Cumbria, and it keeps bringing up a completely dissimilar address in Northumberland. 2 stars because it has worked previously. ### 1/5 — Doesn’t work! *2021-12-07* Typed in London address to look for Royal Mail post box, it doesn’t show anything **Developer response:** This doesn't sound right! If you want to find basic information - where is my nearest post box and what time are collections ? - the app makes this an obscure, multi -step process. For a piece of critical communications infrastructure the technical implementation it is lamentable **Developer response:** Hello, We are sorry you feel anxious about COVID, but this has nothing to do with our app. If you feel anxious please reach out to anxiety helpline on 03444 775 774 The description and terms and condition states that we are using publicly accessible information from OpenStreetView, thus we are not able to provide you collection times for all postboxes and locations as we are not associated with Royal Mail. The primary purpose of the app is to provide lookup for postcodes based on GPS location and vice versa, postboxes is a secondary convenience feature and was not designed to accommodate a lookup for specific pickups and drop off requirements (priority postboxes). I only used it a few times a year, so that that would now cost me £1 per postcode search. NOT A CHANCE ### 1/5 — Forced Subscription *2026-01-09, version 4.0* For many years this app used to be absolutely fantastic and so handy (and free) for the occasional time I needed to find the postcode of my current location. But now I go to use it I find ALL functionality has been locked behind a subscription paywall 😡 Honestly, for the handful of times I use it per year it just does not justify any form of subscription service for me. Come on devs, there are so many other ways you can monetise this app without forcing a subscription for such basic functionality! Oh, and there used to be a really handy watch app which I tended to use more than the phone app, but that appears to have been completely removed as well 🤷‍♂️ ### 1/5 — Used to be great *2025-12-20, version 4.0* Used to work really well, very useful, right up until last update. Now you cannot get past the subscription screen to get into the free area.
