The whole layout needs an overhaul/update. ### 2/5 — Updating a location’s status. *2023-07-17* Like the app fine. However, I submitted an update and it was not put in. Acctuslly I want to give it a 4.5 Star. As a half color blind guy would like to see some kind of stripes or letter or even colors that distinguishes from each other. Other then that I’m very happy and please with the app. **Developer response:** Thank you for the feedback. We recently added an option to our cornerstone app (CCW - 50 State) to all relief for those who are colorblind or have other mild visual disabilities. I always check the place I am going to on the App first. If not listed, I will enter the info right away. USER input is required and is necessary to have the most up to date info available. So happy find an app that lists businesses that do not consider the safety of their patrons to be important. I choose to avoid those businesses because a) they invite gun-toting criminals; b) I carry my gun everywhere. Leaving it in a locked vehicle is not an option (as far as I am concerned.) [UPDATE] This is a great app! Yes, it does take a community to add to this list, but together we will make it the most comprehensive list available. If anyone has any qualms about giving their email address, I have NEVER been spammed for listing a location. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Ripoff - doesn’t work *2025-01-11* App doesn’t work. I just downloaded it and I only get error messages about having no GPS, so it can’t find any data. Just wasted 99 cents… ### 1/5 — Freezes up *2018-11-19, version 2.9.12* Useful if app didn’t freeze up ### 1/5 — Something must be wrong *2017-02-19* Downloaded the app, even added a location and still nothing comes up. Thought I'd try NYC for a location just to see what that map would look like thought, it would be funny and apparently there are no restrictions in NYC... even I know better than that even though I'm from upstate! Refund please **Developer response:** Every location you add is manually checked, and goes "Live" within 2-4 days. There are none listed in NYC, as this is a crowd-sourced app, and there are very few people with CCW licenses valid in NYC. The app is much more populated in areas where the government does not ban virtually all licenses. We do have many locations listed in upstate NY. ### 1/5 — Worst clumsy app I've purchased *2017-02-15, version 2.9.7* Clunky, inaccurate and it looks like it was drawn with crayons by a 3 year old. Save your money and simply google the business name firearm policy. ### 1/5 — This App is not ready yet *2016-08-27, version 2.9.6* This App should have a compiled list of locations rather than expecting us the consumer to build it for you. I paid for this App then quickly realized that it is pointless, looks like someone just put in all the Starbucks and Coscos. Google works just as good and more reliable. Lack of data. *2016-07-13, version 2.9.6* My local area had none of the posted businesses in the database. I took time to add two, and for some reason only one showed up a few days later. Waste of money and time. ### 1/5 — Reason for limited info *2016-03-28, version 2.9.6* I am very disappointed in this app. I went to add a location that does not allow legal law abiding citizens to CCW and as it turns out unless we provide personal information such as our real email, it will not post the listing. Had this been disclosed before purchasing this app, I would never have purchased it. That's probably why the info in this app is so spotty and incomplete. No one who legally CCWs should be required to hand over their personal information just to add a location. The makers of this app are not truly supporting a person's right to privacy concerning their CCW permit. ### 1/5 — Not very good! *2016-01-28, version 2.9.1* I added businesses and none were added to the database.
