Add to that the difficulty in making changes or even selecting a photo (another ad before you can) means that, although I find it useful for my art class, I’m only giving it 2 stars. ### 2/5 — Needs improvement *2024-06-10* I don’t like that the original colors in my photo are list. I think it should have a little more sophistication allowing you to make me more colors are instead of just four. Also the app shuts down immediately anytime I try to share a photo this is a very basic program and I’d like to see it developed more. ### 4/5 — Useful *2022-06-30* This is a valuable tool for art layout, it is basically a value map to lay out a picture. Photo shop probably does it better, but this one does it free. You need to be selective with subject matter for this to be most effective, but it works. I like it. It could come with a tutorial, that would be nice. That would also be a chance to show us what pro can do better. However the inability to change the color scheme either isn't there or isn't intuitive enough for me to figure out how to change more than one color. Many interruptions with adds in the first couple minutes of figuring out app function. Does not give a good impression, so if it's intention is to get me to buy Pro version, it has failed. Lack of tutorial, no apparent color scheme change, too frequent ads do not inspire me to upgrade to paid app version. ### 1/5 — Even free, it's not worth your time *2017-03-02* No instructions, not intuitive, not functional. You can select 4 colours, but you'll need a good memory because when you go to change a colour it doesn't tell you which one you already have, so sometimes you'll accidently change the colour you like you have already selected. You think you are saving the pic but you have to select add to album or else it isn't quite saved. There used to be a better posterize app that let you select the range that the colour would affect, this one only lets you pick a colour and not the colour or luminance range you would like it to work on. Could be better but it's the best of what little choice of posterize apps there are at the moment. I know it's not easy to make an app, but since this one is a paid app, would like to see it improve functionality at some point. You’re only able to touch one single layer - and you don’t even get to select which one. Even then, all you can do is select a colour from a limited bar of swatches. That’s it. I’ll never ever go near another app from this app’s “developer” - *ahemFRAUDahhem*🥵 excuse me! ...which is a shame because I’m constantly trying out and purchasing art and photo-editing apps, and use many day-to-day.
