CONNECTED TO YOUR POSTHOG
Connect with PostHog OAuth or a Personal API Key and approve only the permissions you want to use. Hogly works with your existing PostHog Cloud or self-hosted projects and does not copy their analytics data into a parallel backend.
Hogly-only preferences, such as favorite people and pinned Person properties, sync privately through your iCloud account.

PRIVACY & SECURITY
• Your PostHog credentials are stored in Keychain, never on our servers.
• Requests for connected project data go directly from your device to PostHog.
• Hogly uses a separate PostHog project for product analytics and crash reporting, and RevenueCat for purchase verification. User-initiated messages are sent only after you tap Send. None of these services receives the PostHog project data you connect.
• No ads and no sale of personal data.

Really thoughtful indie-built product. You can tell there’s a real person behind it who cares about solving an actual problem instead of just throwing AI into something for the sake of it. Gray has also been really open to feedback, which I respect a lot. Excited to see where Hogly goes.

Nowhere on the app does it say that you need the pro version? Otherwise it will simply not work at all now here I am giving access after giving access. It’s not letting me use it on this. I paid $80 a year WTF.
I’m very scared now because I authorized it and gave this app permissions. I hope they don’t miss use.

**Developer response:** We’re sorry this change to Hogly’s free access has been disappointing. Hogly has always offered subscriptions, but previously you could continue using some features for free without subscribing. To cover ongoing server and operating costs, we’ve decided to discontinue that ongoing free tier. We understand the frustration this change has caused and should have communicated it more clearly in advance.

You can still start with a free trial to decide whether Hogly is worth paying for. If it isn’t right for you, cancel before the trial ends to avoid being charged; otherwise, the trial automatically renews into a paid subscription. If you’d like more time to explore, please contact hi@hogly.app—we’d be happy to arrange a longer free trial.

If you’ve already purchased a subscription but feel Hogly isn’t right for you, isn’t worth the price, or the purchase wasn’t intentional, you can request a refund through Apple.

Regarding permissions, please be assured that Hogly does not misuse the access you grant. Your credentials are stored in Apple Keychain, and normal requests for your project data travel directly between your device and PostHog. You can revoke Hogly’s access in PostHog at any time.
