## What is Postra Mobile?

Postra turns your camera roll into a single flow: find, compose, refine, and export. No tagging required — just open your photo library and let on-device AI understand your photos.

Find the one shot
• Recent, Random, or AI search to surface buried photos fast
• Search by words like "flower" or "sky" with on-device AI text search
• Tap any photo to gather visually similar ones
• Filter freely by camera and lens

Build photo collages
• Grid, Free, and many Design templates for flexible layouts
• Build several boards at once and export them together — great for finishing a tall composite as a multi-image post
• Presets for Instagram, X, Threads, Stories, TikTok, YouTube, and Pinterest aspect ratios
• "Preview" — see exactly how your post will look before sharing

Refine
• One-tap color presets, plus brightness, HSL, curves, and crop
• Copy & paste adjustments to other photos

Play — film and analog textures
• Over 60 effects: film grain, halation, light leaks, double exposure, film scratches, mold, and more
• Nearly 40 looks (presets) applied in a tap from a thumbnail sheet, from film-stock styles to cinematic grades
• Fine-tune the strength of each effect in the detail settings

Finish and export
• Add a caption band with EXIF (camera, lens, aperture, date)
• Print-style finishing with paper texture and drop shadow
• High-quality export at each platform's aspect ratio, ready to share

Privacy first
• All analysis, layout, and export happen entirely on your device
• Your original photos are never modified
• No account, no tracking, no ads
Note: AI text search downloads a search model (~146MB) once on first use. Your photos are never uploaded.

For iPhone and iPad.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.7.0 — 2026-08-31

You can now build several boards at once and export them together, which is handy for finishing a tall composite as a two-image post.

Multiple boards (free collage)
• Keep several collage boards at once, and switch between them to finish each as its own image
• Send a photo to another board, or reorder your boards
• Apply an adjustment across all boards at once
• Export all boards together and preview them as a multi-image post
• Open the board list from any tab: Select, Layout, Retouch, or Export

Other improvements
• Undo history is now kept separately for each board
• Thumbnails now reflect your retouch and RAW development
• Each board remembers its own retouch selection
• On iPad you can resize the control panel, and iPhone is now locked to portrait
• Various stability and data-handling fixes

### 1.6.1 — 2026-08-29

### 1.5.0 — 2026-08-16

From new ways to show your work to faster search and safer data handling.

New ways to show your work
• Photo Split: divide one photo into up to four vertical strips for a carousel (easy to undo)
• New "Carousel" view in the X preview, so you arrange against the real post layout
• Retouch: compare before and after as you drag, and see which adjustments are active
• Tidied board tabs, with undo and redo for arranging
• Fixed a carousel export issue

Faster search, more results
• AI search now appears almost instantly
• More results, and it loads more as you scroll

Data and storage you can trust
• Photos stored only in iCloud are now fetched over Wi-Fi by default, preventing unexpected cellular data use (adjustable in Settings)
• Temporary files from exports are cleaned up automatically, including leftovers from earlier versions
• AI indexing runs only when you start it, and you choose whether it continues in the background

More improvements
• Deleting a photo in the Photos app is now reflected right away in the picker and on the board
• You can now cancel an export while it is running
• Added an in-app way to add photos when using Selected Photos access
• Broad stability improvements and a careful review of how photo data is handled

### 1.4.0 — 2026-07-26

Smoother arranging — plus direct export to your library.

• Set photo ratio and canvas ratio separately, so it’s clear which one you’re changing
• Frames snap to the canvas center as you move them, with a center guide you can toggle
• New quick toggles on the board for Preview, Retouch and Snap-to-center
• Quick Export: skip the share sheet and save straight to your photo library after a confirm
• The remove button is hidden while moving or resizing, to prevent accidental deletes
