## What is Pot Vault?

Pot Vault is a home game poker tracker built by someone who was tired of scribbling on napkins.

Log buy-ins, rebuys, and cash-outs as your game unfolds. When someone busts out, tap Cash Out and their result is banked. When the game ends, Pot Vault does the math for you: who owes what, who takes home cash from the pot, and every dollar accounted for.

FEATURES
- Host a session and invite anyone at the table via a 5-digit code
- Track paid vs unpaid buy-ins so you always know how much cash is really in the pot
- Real-time updates across every player's phone
- Automatic settlement math when the game ends: who pays who, and who takes from the pot
- Live ledger showing every rebuy, cash-out, and late join with exact timestamps
- Session history so you can look back at any game you have hosted or joined
- Handles unpaid buy-ins, mid-session cash-outs, and late-joining players
- Free forever

Pot Vault is a scoreboard for real poker games played with physical cards and real money changing hands between friends. It doesn't handle payments, deal cards, or facilitate any gambling. It's the digital version of the notebook you'd use at the table anyway.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.0.4 — 2026-09-12

Discrepancy labels now match reality: red when the pot is short of what's claimed, green when there's extra money.
Split leftover cents go to the biggest winner (if pot short) or biggest loser (if extra), with ordering guaranteed to never invert.
Bring a cashed-out player back with either their original chips or a fresh new buy-in.
Ledger opens as a compact popup, including in past sessions.
Cashed-out player rows show what they take from the pot or what they're owed.
Compact unpaid buy-ins button.
Transfer host mid-session to any admin or spectator.
Share a join link straight to a group chat, and share results as a styled image or link.
Back button on results now returns you to Final Stacks with your numbers intact.
Compact discrepancy panel that collapses after you pick a mode.
Extra breathing room at the top of every screen.

### 1.0.3 — 2026-08-20

Discrepancy panel is now compact once you pick a mode, so who-owes-who is front and center.
Green highlight for extra money, red for missing.
Split-equally and winners/losers-split now round to the small blind, and leftover cents go to the biggest winner (or biggest loser) for cleaner numbers.
Bringing a player back to the table now asks whether they returned with their original stack or bought back in fresh.
Cashed-out players show a small note about what they take from the pot or what they're owed.
Unpaid buy-ins summary is now a compact button.

### 1.0.2 — 2026-08-02

Transfer host to any admin or spectator mid-session, in case the current host needs to leave.
Ledger now opens as a clean popup instead of taking up screen space, with the full history a tap away.
Ledger also viewable on past sessions from your history.
Player card shows chip count when someone returns to the table.

### 1.0.1 — 2026-07-29

Fixed layout so the back and discard buttons no longer sit under the notch.
More breathing room at the top of every screen.

### 1.0 — 2026-07-21
