Makes me sad. Can never connect to download the content. When I click album, the app freezes and won’t let me click anything else. I’ve restarted my phone, updated the software, firmware, and everything else. Doe it need to be like this 🤔 ### 4/5 — Experience nothing short of great *2026-01-03* The Potensic Eve app is very efficiently designed and clearly built with user experience in mind. From the moment I opened everything, my overall customer experience with Potensic has been excellent. The packaging was extremely well done; everything was neatly labeled, well organized, and the directions were very clear and easy to follow. It genuinely felt like care was put into how the product was presented. I haven’t had the chance to fly the drone just yet, but there should be some good weather coming up this week and I’m looking forward to giving it a proper test. If I encounter any issues once I’ve flown it, I’ll come back and update this review. As of now though, I’m very happy with both the app and the overall experience so far. That said, there are a couple of small tweaks that could make the app even better. First, I think adding a community feature where users can share clips or experiences would be a great addition. It would help new pilots learn, see real-world usage, and build a stronger user community around the product. Second, it would be really helpful to have a way to pair or connect to the drone without needing to fly it. At the moment, the app seems to want you in flight before fully connecting, and having a ground-based connection option would make setup, updates, and familiarization much easier. Overall, these are minor suggestions on an otherwise very solid app. I’m genuinely impressed so far and excited to see how everything performs once I get some flight time in. ### 3/5 — Drone *2025-12-31* The drone doesn’t connect to my iPhone 17 pro max ### 2/5 — Smart Transfer connect fails on IPhone 18.6.2 *2025-12-21* Unable to transfer captures since Smart transfer connect always fails ### 2/5 — Connectivity issue *2025-12-01* Looking forward to use it if connectivity issue gets resolved but so far all I get is an error message saying it can’t connect I get past this issue if I turn on airplane mode on my iphone 16 pro max but then I can’t access anything else on n the next display or menu because obviously my data is turned off ### 3/5 — Wegpunkt, Höhenbegranzung und Folgemodus mit Winkel *2025-11-06, version 1.1.6* Hallo, An sich finde ich die App schön gemacht! Allerdings muss die Höhenbegrenzung weg. Es muss höhe über Grund genommen werden. Als Drohnenpilot muss man selber für die Sicherheit gerade stehen. Desweiteren müssen die Wegpunkt kommen die versprochen wurden. Und auch der Folgemodus mit Mindesthöhe und Kamerawinkel muss variabler werden. Auch hier sollte der Nutzer entscheiden dürfen wann er wie tief fliegt und ob ein Risiko besteht. ### 3/5 — Drone is great - App not so much *2025-10-09* Purchased Atom 2. The drone serves the purpose so far. Might come across issues later. But my major frustration is the app. It logged me out of my account and doesn’t accept my password. Keeps asking me to create a new account. Not cool!! I would expect this process to be flawless. ### 3/5 — Gut, aber… *2025-09-03, version 1.1.5* Die App ist übersichtlich und schon fast intuitiv zu bedienen. Vor allem der Smarttransfer hat es mit angetan, einen tolle Lösung. Aber! Warum kann man die Höhenbeschränkung nicht ausschalten? Gerade in einer bergigen Landschaft kann es deswegen zu Problemen kommen. Die Geozonen werden nicht in der Karte angezeigt, eine Legende dazu aber schon. Das können andere Hersteller wesentlich besser, sorry. Als letztes die Beschränkungen im FollowMe Modus. Habt ihr euch schon mal damit beschäftigt und gemerkt, dass die Mindesthöhe mit 4m und der Winkel der Kamera großer Quatsch sind? He, ich bin selbst für die Sicherheit verantwortlich, also hebt diese Beschränkungen auf. Ebenfalls kann man keine Wegpunkte planen, eigentlich auch eine essenzielle Funktion wenn man gute Aufnahmen machen möchte. Wirklich tolle Drohne, aber leider habe ich diese Dinge vor dem Kauf nicht gewußt, was sicher sonst meine Entscheidung beeinflußt hätte. ### 3/5 — Invisible telemetry *2025-08-26* Dear developers, did you try to use your app when camera is pointed to something bright, like clouds? Telemetry numbers are almost invisible! Put them on a semi-transparent gray background. ### 4/5 — Potensic App *2025-08-15, version 1.1.5* Die App macht was sie soll. Wenn gleich ich, sollte ich die Drohnen Daten komplett eintragen, wahrscheinlich mit automatisierten Anzeigen und Busgeldern rechnen muss. Denn wenn die Drohne jetzt selbstständig die Flugdaten an das Kraftfahrt-Bundesamt versendet, werden auch die Verstöße automatisch mit versendet. Was ich vermisse: Den Splitscreen! Damit die Atom endlich mit einer Brille zu steuern ist. Und nun eine Frage: Was nutzt einem die neue Reichweite von 10 Km, wenn nach 3 Km die automatische Rückkehr eingeleitet wird, weil das Akku den Geist aufgibt…?!? Absoluter Nachteil!!! Die erzwungene Höhenbegrenzung! 120m ist in Ordnung. Nur, weil soll ich da aus einer Senke heraus kommen? Denn die, gesetzliche Beschränkungen von 120m gelten immer über Grund… Und nicht immer vom Startpunkt… ### 2/5 — Can’t get anything to work with Atom 2 *2025-07-26* I’ve tried 2 different weekends to get this drone up and running but have been unsuccessful both times purely because the app and drone do not connect well to each other. Either the camera won’t turn on, the update for firmware gets stuck and makes me restart the app only to do the same thing on the next try or the vertical calibration gets stuck and won’t calibrate. All these things have happened and disabled me from using the drone. Customer support is only available M-f during work hours which I don’t have time to go into the middle of an empty field and troubleshoot this drone. The videos make it seem so simple to use and setup but when something (usually multiple things) don’t work it’s very frustrating as there’s no fix. I want to like this drone but at the price point this seems to be the price you pay for a budget option. Hopefully a strong fix can be made to cure these issues ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Support is non-existent *2026-05-08* Love my Atom2, but when you need help such as the app not functioning, you won’t love their support. Been a one week mess with 12 hour time difference and still no resolution but lots of requests to provide proof of purchase, pictures of drone as they will try to first put the issue on user error. ### 1/5 — UI *2026-04-03* Very slow app, unresponsive, I push album and it doesn’t do anything it just sits there like it’s frozen, I connect WiFi and go to album, same thing!!! When downloading pictures SAME THING!!! It downloads 2 pictures and it just sits there “downloading “ it never finishes. It also takes forever to respond to commands. I especially like the new feature that shows the shadow of the drone where it’s gonna land that really comes in handy when you’re getting closer to landing on your own.
