## What is Potentially?

Potentially is how your group actually decides things - by passing notes, not arguing in the group chat.

Fold a note, toss it on the desk, and your clique pulls it open to answer. Where are we going tonight? Who's actually coming? Pizza or tacos? Everyone marks the same page - in their own pen - and it comes back covered in everyone's handwriting, not a sterile bar chart.

Plan with the Yes crowd.

- NEW - After an interest poll settles, its creator can find a time using only the people who picked Yes - or the winning option on any other poll.
- NEW - The follow-up time poll goes only to those voters, so friends who passed do not get another note on their desk.
- NEW - A paperclip keeps the follow-up connected to the original results, so the plan and the decision stay together.
- Date-and-time polls already chose a time, so they do not show this offer.

### 2.5 — 2026-08-08

No more endless spinners.

- FIXED - On a weak connection, "Check iCloud for my cliques" could spin forever with no way out. Every iCloud request now gives up after ten seconds and says so, plainly.
- IMPROVED - When iCloud can't be reached, buttons tell you ("Couldn't reach iCloud - check your connection and try again") instead of spinning silently or claiming "Up to date" when nothing was checked.
- IMPROVED - The click pen on your desk is redrawn to match the real classroom classic: white top, your color's slider pushed down, and the tip poking out in your ink.

### 2.4 — 2026-07-26

Opens straight onto your desk, and the desk is yours now.

- IMPROVED - Potentially opens on your notes instead of a spinner. Your desk is drawn the instant you tap the icon, and anything new slides in behind it.
- NEW - Your desk is personal: your clique's name is carved into the wood, your own doodle is carved beside it, and the pen in the groove is a four-color click pen with YOUR color pushed down.
- NEW - Lost signal? Your notes stay on the desk, with a small "Offline" note so you know they might not be the latest. They used to vanish.
- FIXED - Every pen is readable on every paper. A yellow or pale pen on a yellow note used to disappear; it now writes in a deeper shade of the same color instead.
- FIXED - "Someone passed you a note" on a folded note is legible now, on every paper and in dark mode.
- FIXED - Your cliques can no longer disappear from the app when iCloud is briefly unreachable or signed out.

- IMPROVED - The vote tally is now marked in the same red pen that circles the winner and scrawls "Settled" - one hand grades the page.
- FIXED - Tally marks now sit on the ruled line with the option names instead of floating above it.

### 2.3 — 2026-07-20

Finding a time together just got easier to say yes to.

- NEW - When you create or join a clique, Potentially now asks right then if you want to share your busy times with it - one tap covers both the phone permission and the clique's switch. (Friends only ever see WHEN you're busy - never event names, places, or details.)
- NEW - Say yes once and you can choose to share with new cliques automatically. Or keep it ask-every-time - your call.
- NEW - Find a time now tells you when your own calendar isn't being counted, with a one-tap fix right on the page.
- As always: sharing is OFF until you say yes, and any clique can be switched off any time in Calendars & availability.
