We paid the 6.99 for it still not to work for a family event that's approaching !!!

**Developer response:** Really sorry, especially with your event coming up. Paying for something that then doesn't work is the worst, and we want to make it right before your family event.

Apple doesn't let us reply privately here, so please reach us at didyu.app/contact and tell us what's happening (what you tap and what goes wrong). We usually reply the same day and can get you unstuck fast. If the fix helps, we'd really appreciate a second look at the rating.

This doesn't work!

**Developer response:** Sorry it didn't work for you! We just pushed an update that fixed a bunch of issues, worth giving it another shot.

It’s not possible to edit the details of an event so if your time changes, you have to delete the event and start all over again

**Developer response:** Thanks so much for flagging this. You're absolutely right, and it was a real gap. We've just built event editing and it's coming in our next update (version 1.0.3, submitted to Apple now).

Once you're on the update, here's how it works:

1. Open the event you're hosting.

2.  Tap the ••• menu in the top-right corner.

3. Choose Edit Details.

4. Change the date, time, location, name, or host note, then tap Save.

Your join code, dishes, and everyone's claims all stay intact, so guests won't lose anything. (Your code stays the same on purpose, since you've already shared it.)

Really appreciate you taking the time to write in. It directly shaped this update. 🙏

As an event host and community enthusiast, this app makes it extremely easy to organize events. Sign in is smooth, roles are easy to assign and manage, and everything is built to be simple and easy to use. The devs really listen to their users and update features based on real feedback. Thanks for a great app team!
