## What is Potluck?

Potluck is a free, social cooking community for home cooks.

No ads. No subscriptions. No grocery brand paying to live at the top of your feed. We make money exactly zero ways from the food you cook — that's the point.

Here's what you can do:

- Follow chefs you actually trust. Friends, family, neighbours, the colleague who keeps bringing in killer kueh. See what they're cooking this week, save what catches your eye.

- Push any recipe to your basket in one tap. The ingredients flow straight into a shared grocery list, intelligently combined across recipes — no more buying three bunches of coriander because you forgot you needed it for two other dishes.

- Scale to your kitchen. Cooking for two tonight when the recipe serves six? Tap the servings, watch the quantities adjust.

- Cook together, even when you're apart. Share a basket with a partner, flatmate, or your mum. Watch items get ticked off in real time as one of you picks up groceries on the way home.

- Mark what's in the pantry. Don't buy salt you already have. Don't forget that one weird ingredient at the back of the cupboard.

We built Potluck because every other recipe app wants something from you — your attention for ads, your subscription for "premium" features, your data sold to grocery brands. Potluck wants you to cook good food, and tell your friends about us.

It's named after the meal where everyone brings something to share. That's the spirit.
