## What is PottyPro?

Potty training is short, messy and stressful, and most apps make it louder
than it needs to be. PottyPro is built to be the opposite: a quiet timer, an
honest log, and advice that follows the guidance health visitors actually
give.

ON YOUR WRIST, AND YOUR HOME SCREEN
The Apple Watch app logs a wee, a poo or an accident in a tap, without
finding your phone — which, with a toddler halfway to the bathroom, is
the difference between logging it and not. The countdown sits on your watch
face, and it works over iCloud on its own when your phone is in another room.
On iPhone, a Home Screen widget shows the next prompt for every child, and a
Live Activity puts the countdown on the Lock Screen.

A GENTLE TIMER, NOT A NAGGING ONE
Set the gap between prompts and PottyPro counts down to the next one. It
keeps running when you switch tabs or close the app. Quiet hours mean it
never goes off overnight — if a prompt falls due while everyone's asleep, it
waits until morning rather than waking the house. Taking them off-schedule
doesn't restart the clock, so the gap never quietly gets longer than the one
you chose. And if they sat with nothing to show for it, one tap tries again
in fifteen minutes.

LOGGING THAT MATCHES REALITY
Wee and poo, on the potty, on the toilet, or an accident. Holding on and
straining. Dry checks. Dry and wet nights kept separate from daytime figures,
because a wet night isn't an accident. Made a mistake? Tap any entry to
change it, or swipe to delete.

DRINKS, BECAUSE THEY MATTER MORE THAN PEOPLE THINK
ERIC recommends six to eight drinks a day, and NICE warns against cutting
fluids back to stop bedwetting. PottyPro tracks the day's drinks against a
target you set — and it's drinking enough, not a dry night, that gets the
celebration, because that's what your child can control.

PATTERNS, SHOWN HONESTLY
Once there's a week of entries, PottyPro suggests a gap that fits when your
child actually goes, and shows the numbers behind it. If accidents pick up
after a settled stretch, it offers things worth checking before you assume
you're back to square one. Nothing is presented as a prediction.

NIGHTS, TREATED AS DEVELOPMENT
Answer a morning dry check straight from the Lock Screen. Dry nights are
noted, never rewarded — staying dry overnight isn't something a child can be
taught, and over 20% of five-year-olds still wet the bed. If wetting returns
after months of dry nights, PottyPro says so and suggests a conversation with
your GP or health visitor.

EVERYONE ON THE SAME PAGE
Invite a co-parent and they get the live log on their own phone. Send nursery
or a childminder a plain text summary of the day plus your handover note —
they need nothing installed. Away-from-home mode marks entries made on an
outing so a pull-up on a long journey doesn't read as a backwards step.

BUILT FOR MORE THAN ONE CHILD
Each child has their own timer, settings and history.

YOUR DATA IS YOURS
Everything stays on your device and in your own private iCloud. No accounts,
no advertising, no analytics, nothing sold to anyone. Only people you invite
can see your child's log.

PottyPro offers general prompts based on public NHS, NICE, ERIC and AAP
guidance. It can't diagnose anything, and it will always point you to a GP,
health visitor or pediatrician where that's the right thing to do.

SUBSCRIPTION
PottyPro is free for three days with everything unlocked and no payment
details required. After that, a subscription is needed to keep using it —
monthly, or annually for a good deal less. Both unlock everything; there's no
premium tier. Prices are shown in the app in your own currency before you
buy. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at
confirmation. It renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours
before the period ends, and you can cancel any time in your Apple Account
settings.

### 5/5 — Super helpful!

*2026-10-08*

This app is the perfect partner when potty training. My son took a while to be dry and at times I felt helpless and all consumed by having to monitor everything on my own. Having an app that helped me track every success, accident, dry and wet night was such a win as it allowed me to be there for him whilst keeping my mind that bit clearer. It made the whole experience much less overwhelming and having the app share his information in real time with his dad and other care givers was excellent. Would highly recommend to anyone in their potty training era-it helped our family no end! Will definitely be using it for his baby sister in future!

**Developer response:** Thank you for the review, so pleased you find the app useful, let me know if you have any suggestions for improvement or features you’d like to see!

### 5/5 — Excellent

*2026-10-07*

Having become a bit obsessed with potty training recently this app beautifully summarises all the information I’ve gained from books, podcasts and child health and puts it in an easy to find simple place. The timer (the main function of the app) is excellent and really helps keep track of the potty attempts on crazy days with 2 kids to look after.

**Developer response:** So pleased you’re finding the app useful, good luck with the training!

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.1.2 — 2026-11-02

Easier to read, and gentler on the watch.

ACCESSIBILITY
- Clearer colours. Coloured text and buttons are a little deeper in light mode, so they're easier to read for everyone, including anyone with low vision.
- Reduce Motion on Apple Watch. With Reduce Motion turned on, the "Logged" message on your watch now fades in instead of sliding.

Log without opening the app, and a pause for nursery days.

LOGGING, WHEREVER YOU ARE
- Home Screen widget buttons. Choose the two you want with Edit Widget; the large widget has every daytime button.
- Lock Screen and Dynamic Island buttons. Pick three for each child in Settings > Lock Screen buttons.
- A PottyPro control for Control Centre, the Lock Screen and the Action button.
- Siri: "Log a wee in PottyPro" or "When's the next prompt in PottyPro".
- Pressed twice by mistake? A second press within a few seconds counts once.

APPLE WATCH
- Every log is confirmed with a tap on the wrist and a message, with Undo, and Replace if you picked the wrong one.
- Double Tap logs a wee without touching the screen.
- Your iPhone updates straight away when you log on the watch, even while it's locked in another room.

NURSERY AND CHILDCARE
- New: hand over to nursery and prompts pause while someone else has your child. Add a pickup time and the countdown restarts by itself, or tap They're back from the app, watch or widget.

FIXES
- Logged a wee late? Correcting its time now brings the next prompt earlier to match.
- Deleting a mis-tap now takes the countdown back too.
- "Sat, nothing happened" now appears when the prompt is due, and always works.
- The morning dry check no longer asks about last night after a daytime nap window.
- Co-parent sharing no longer closes the first time you open it.
- A purchase approved while the app is open now unlocks it straight away.

### 1.0.2 — 2026-10-06

Two fixes to the screen you see when the free trial ends.

- You can now choose between monthly and annual there, and the saving on
the annual plan is shown. Previously both prices were listed but the
button only ever started a monthly subscription.
- You can now enter a promo or offer code on that screen, instead of
having to go to the App Store to redeem one.

### 1.0.1 — 2026-10-04

Small fixes from the first week of real use.

- Apple Watch: opening PottyPro from the watch face no longer asks you to
open your iPhone first. It now shows the countdown straight away, so you
can log without reaching for your phone.
- Apple Watch: if a log can't be saved, the app says so instead of quietly
moving the timer for a visit that wasn't recorded.
- Subscribing with Ask to Buy now tells you it's waiting for approval,
rather than appearing to do nothing.
- Restore purchase now tells you what happened — whether it found a
subscription, found none, or couldn't reach the App Store.
- Help now has a way to get in touch, along with the terms and privacy
policy, and shows which version you're running.
- The coaching tip now matches the rest of the app in dark mode.
