## What is Povver?

Strength training that adjusts to every set you log.

Import your training log and your first session starts from where you are. From then on, Povver runs the program: it sets the next weight for each lift, adds reps, schedules the deload and swaps an exercise when something gets in the way. You show up and press start.

READS YOUR TRAINING

• History import: bring a CSV export from the app you use now. Povver reads your last 12 weeks lift by lift, and your first week's weights come from your own lifts.
• Exercises you create, timed sets and distance sets go in the same log as your lifts.

RUNS THE PROGRAM

• The next weight for every lift, raised when you earn it and kept where it is until then, rounded to the weights you load.
• Hard sets per muscle, per week: ten muscle groups, each against its own range.
• Training blocks that end with an easy week, and the weekly analysis can call a deload early when fatigue runs well above your recent average.
• A full program from the coach: ask for four days of upper and lower under 70 minutes and save the plan it builds.

WORKS AROUND YOU

• Tell it about a sore shoulder once. The plans it builds keep lifts that load it out, and raises on those muscles wait.
• Swap a lift mid-session and the prescription goes with it.
• Preferences and notes stay in Memories, and the coach uses them every time it builds or changes a plan.

SUPERSETS AND CIRCUITS

Pair two lifts or run a circuit of up to eight. Log each one set by set, with rest between exercises or after the round.

PROGRESS YOU CAN CHECK

Every lift gets an estimated 1RM each week and a verdict from your own sets: climbing, maintaining or declining. A plateau is three flat weeks on your best set, not one bad day.

HOW IT DECIDES

A load moves when every working set is done, the last set ends no more than one rep harder than the target effort and you reach the top of the rep range, counting the reps you had left. One session is enough when you log RIR, two in a row without it. The step is sized from the reps you had left, up to 10% of the load (5% on isolation lifts) or one weight step on light lifts, and rounded to the weights you load.

YOUR TRAINING, IN ANY ASSISTANT

Povver runs an MCP server. Claude, or any assistant you use, reaches your account with your permission and works on the same data the app does: every set, per-lift trends, muscle volume, routines and plans.

Your workout data is not used to train AI models. Not by us, and not by our providers.

Povver is a paid strength training app. Your first 14 days are free, with no card: logging, import, progression, analysis and the coach are all included.

### 1.1.3 — 2026-10-22

A faster coach that asks before it changes your plan, and more you can do from your own AI assistant.

• New accounts get 14 days free with no card. After that, Coach, Train and Intelligence need a subscription. Profile and History stay open.
• The coach now runs on Claude Sonnet from Anthropic, and its answers arrive faster.
• The coach changes your plan or your workout history only after you reply "yes" to the change it shows you. Nothing is saved before that.
• When the coach or your assistant picks an exercise, it steers around lifts that load an injured area. Swap to one yourself mid-workout and a note on the exercise says it is not recommended.
• Once a week Povver tidies what the coach remembers about you, based on your workouts and chats. It merges duplicates and retires notes that are out of date, and it never retires an injury.
• Long-press a workout card on Train to delete it, including workouts from your generated programme. Each card shows which programme it belongs to.
• Tell the coach about a bug or an idea and it sends it to us after your "yes".
• In a workout, the coach can put two exercises you have not started into a superset, and it answers questions about your history and your feedback on the spot.

Connect Povver to your assistant (Claude and others that support MCP):
• Run a workout from the chat: start it, log sets, swap or add exercises and finish it.
• Choose what each assistant may do when you connect it. Reading and writing are on by default, and deleting is opt-in. Profile → Integrations lists each assistant, and you can disconnect one without touching the others.
• Before your assistant deletes anything or accepts a recommendation, Povver asks it to check with you first.
• Your assistant can resend a save after a dropped connection, and no second routine or template appears.
• Ask your assistant what is new in Povver, or have it send us a bug report or an idea from the chat.
• ChatGPT now sets up from its plugin directory, the same way Claude does.

### 1.1.2 — 2026-10-19

Supersets and circuits are here, and the workout screen is steadier.

• Pair two lifts or run a circuit of up to eight. Log each one set by set, with rest between exercises or after the round. Your templates keep the groups.
• A weight you type stays put. It used to jump back when the screen refreshed.
• An import upload retries on its own when the connection drops, and a file Povver cannot read now says so plainly.
• Set how much each lift goes up by, or leave it to Povver.
• Recommendations read in the language you chose.

### 1.1.1 — 2026-10-12

New to Povver? Your first programme now comes from your own training log, and you see it before you make an account.

• Import your log first. Povver reads your training days, equipment, goal and experience from it and fills in the questions for you to confirm.
• The programme keeps the lifts you already do, your usual split and how many days you train. Starting weights and reps come from your last few sessions.
• Look through the whole programme, then save it with Apple, Google or email.
• Have an account already? Sign in from the first screen.
• Imports list every exercise they could not match, so none disappear without you knowing. Timed and distance sets stay timed and distance.
• No bodyweight in your log for older sessions? The import asks you for a rough range at the end. It never guesses one.
• Each workout records the gym you trained at. Povver finds it from your location, or you pick it on a map.
• Stopped a hold early? You can now correct its time afterwards.
• Weekly volume shows a separate colour when a muscle goes past what it can recover from.

### 1.1 — 2026-10-07

Bring your training history, and log the work that never fit a weight-and-reps row.

• Import a CSV export from your current app at setup or later from Profile → Imported history. Povver reads your most recent 12 weeks lift by lift, and the rest of your history imports in the background. Import at setup and your first programme starts from that history, with first-week weights from your own lifts.
• Importing the same file again never duplicates a session. You can remove an import from the same screen.
• Log timed and distance work: a plank, a farmer's walk, a 5 km run. A timed set has its own timer. Stop it and the set is logged with the time you held.
• Pull-ups and dips take their load set by set: bodyweight, added weight, assistance or a band. An assisted pull-up with 25 kg of help reads BW −25.
• Missing an exercise? Create it from search, with its muscles and how you count it. Edit, archive or delete your own exercises in Profile → Custom Exercises. Creating one needs a connection.
• An imported exercise with no match in the catalogue can be created as your own from the import's review list, so its sets come with you.
• Mid-workout, the swap sheet changes how you count an exercise (reps, time or distance) or its variant, such as barbell to dumbbell. Sets you already did stay as logged, and you can undo the switch straight after.
• The template editor and past-workout edits have the same switches. An imported set that does not fit its exercise is marked, and you can move it to the right one.
• Timed and distance sets show your bests.
• If your bodyweight is missing or more than 14 days old, Povver asks for it when a workout has a bodyweight exercise. You can skip it.
• A workout left open for over a day now asks you to finish, resume or discard it. Sets logged offline are saved when you reopen the app.
• A weight typed in pounds stays the number you typed. Error messages appear in the app's language.
• The load step is sized from the reps you had left, and one session at the top of the rep range is enough when you log RIR.
• After a layoff, the first session's loads come down, and the gap is no longer read as a stall.
• A set that helps a muscle counts as half a set toward that muscle's weekly volume.
• Lift trends read Climbing, Maintaining or Declining.
• Update Povver on every device you use. Timed, distance and your own exercises show in full only in this version, and older versions show a timed set from the coach as reps.

### 1.0.5 — 2026-09-25

Rest timers, and a first programme you can do at your gym.

• A rest timer starts when you tick a set. It counts down under the header and buzzes and chimes when your rest is up. Put the phone away and Povver can notify you instead, if you let it. Your rest goes in the log, so the coach can see how long you actually took.
• Set your own rest per lift type — one length for the big compounds, another for isolation work, another for warm-ups — or turn any of them off.
• New programmes open each muscle group's first big lift with warm-up sets, from the coach and from onboarding alike, instead of starting you cold at a working weight.
• The coach reaches for what most gyms have. Between two equally good answers it takes the barbell, dumbbell, cable or common machine, and names a swap when it picks something rarer.
• Date and time format are your own setting now: day-first or month-first, 12 or 24 hours, or follow the phone.
• Warm-up rows arrive in order instead of in a clump, and the rest strip no longer covers your session's name.
• Restore Purchases is on the subscription screen, for anyone reinstalling.
