As the title says. Really frustrating to spend money on a product that offers an app and find out the app doesn’t actually work.

Such an expensive item with so much promise and hype. But
The app and connectivity issues are really so frustrating and the outcome is that all you have is an electric buggy that is so overvalued with almost no smart usable features.
And don’t get me started on so called “support”!
Take my advice, at this time I would absolutely recommend you try any other product but PowaKaddy.
Could be so much better so I am still hopeful.

What’s the point of having such an expensive trolley with GPS & scorecard when I can’t sync the scorecard to the mobile app? Just a basic app to do updates to GPS where competitions do direct updates. Very basic & poor app for such an expensive trolley. Love the trolley, hate the lack of app.

Whilst the registration on the website accepted my serial number, the app did not and without it, it is useless. Still waiting for PK to come back to me with a solve

Would avoid Powakaddy based on my experiences. The app is more and the GPS failed after 2 uses on the brand new CT6 GPS. Customer service via the app and other channels also useless. Very expensive kit that doesn’t work.

I bought a 2nd hand trolley has no serial number so I can not log into the app to use so have no idea if it is any use. I contacted powakaddy direct and they said I need a serial number so not much use really 
I use the power caddy app instead. Brilliant.

If the PowaKaddy website accepts your serial number regarding warranty you’d expect the app to do the same...nope, pointless until the fix this basic error

Only does the bare essentials. Does that well enough.   Would have liked to know which courses need to be updated.   Or a facility to bring everything up to date.  So I might do it once a year.  Also doesn’t tell me where the maps are. In the app or in the cloud. I’ll find out when I’m at a course without access to the internet.

The app pretty much just updates a course with yardage and new bunkers etc if you need it. Also has a owners manual to view which can be handy. 
It shows your serial numbers and model and has a technical support section there for any problems you may come across. 
One to note which I like but it takes people to help out is a tab to report mapping issues ( if the date is wrong) ie if new bunkers get put in. obviously powakaddy can’t visit every course so it does take people to report the problems they come across. 
I would have liked a feature to view full hole layouts for times I visit new unknown courses.
