It did. One big suggestion, there is only one alarm sound. This app is working great Questions/Suggestions: - Do you have any way to automatically start and enable the app when we set the “do not disturb mode” Ex.: night mode with power outage alarm? - Do you have a way to send repetitive text message to one or multiple people? Ex.: Send repetitive messages (ex.:10 sec) to myself. Thanks. ### 5/5 — Peace of mind *2024-03-10* In a heavy rain our basement stays dry only when our sump pump is working. When power goes out we have a battery backup pump that should activate. However, one time the backup system failed and our basement flooded. If necessary we have a generator. However I need to be aware that power has gone out, which might not be the case if it happens overnight while I’m sleeping. Knowing this product will alert me so I can check the pumps and basement lets me sleep without stressing. ### 5/5 — Great App *2024-01-22* I’ve used this App during several times very cold temperatures, when the possibility of power loss is great. If the power goes out during the night I need to know so I can take action of draining the pumps for our pool. One small question. Recently the app shows a message by displaying the number 1. I see a restore purchases button and it has removed the notification. Now the number 1 just stays on the screen. I don’t see a way to contact the developer. I have a gas generator but need to know when power is out so I can start it up. This app saves me all the worry of not knowing if the power is out or not! So happy with this app!! I won’t lose another nights sleep due to checking power! ### 5/5 — Great for monitoring fish tanks or for caregivers *2024-01-09* Pros -I can lock my phone, and the alarm still goes off (during tests, at least); no need to keep the screen unlocked with the screensaver the app just needs to armed and left running in the background (testing while writing this review) -programmable alarm delay in case power is restored quickly Cons -can’t change the sound of the alarm; typical panic alarm sound. But it gets the job done if power supply is critical. -only has an email option; an SMS option might be critical for when the app is setup to notify a caregiver of a power outage Suggestions -alternate alarm sounds -Home Screen arm-alarm widget (nothing fancy) -Data network disconnect detection/alarm (if the power goes out, the WIFI will likely disconnect). This might be an alternate solution for someone who doesn’t have a charger on-hand, or beside the bed. All-in-all, this app serves my need and will let me know if there’s an outage. I care for two saltwater fish tanks, one 30g and one 140. The power can be off for Andre hours without much harm to tanks, but the real fear here is the skimmer pump turning back on when the power does, and it could overflow if the sump’s water level hasn’t equalized, which would dump skimmate into the water and nuke my tank. I’ll be paying for the 99¢ app even tho I don’t need the additional functions, it would be nice to support a developer that might be willing to support added features! ### 4/5 — Thank you! *2023-11-09* Hi ! I would like to thank you for this wonderful tool that I use to supplement my other survival devices. I live alone and I am an LVAD patient. I had to purchase a generator to supply me with power in case mine goes out . I have to be hooked to electricity 24/7 in one way or another. This alarm gives me comfort and I am able to sleep a little better knowing it will wake me up in case my power goes off . For me that’s a life or death situation. Thank you for this and I hope to be able too use more of its functions in the near future. I’m alerted automatically when Lights, AC, TV and all powered devices stop working. I also do not need to be notified by email of obvious power outage. The ability to delay an alarm is nice, but I am keeping mine on instant. Our basement sump pump requires electricity to run and I was worried that the power would go off while I was sleeping and I wouldn’t realize it until morning. I downloaded this app and it has been wonderful. It woke me in time to turn on the generator and save our basement from flooding.
